Two suggestions: 1) get a referral to a PT. 2) check out this video for a simple start: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=P0Sg1MHhmjY These are the 4 key leg stretches that will give you a start to healthier legs. This only takes four minutes to do and can make a huge difference! Good luck.

I'm looking, too! I have 3 questions for you all: 1) which of these are padding-free? I already run far too hot. 2) I need no freaking underwires! Any reviews on underwire free? 3) I can no longer find bras that are long enough from shoulder to under breast. Am I the only woman with this problem? Thank you all.

Talk with your physician about it. If you have back or neck issues related to breast size, have indents (REAL indents) in your shoulders from your bra straps, and/or have chronic skin inflammation under your breasts, insurance will generally cover it.

Thank you suzieq!

OK. Weird effect, but, a couple of years ago, I did the program in the book "I Quit Sugar." I did it because sugar was ruling my life. Oddly, my hot flashes disappeared, and stayed disappeared until recently, even after I started eating sugar again. The other interesting effect was that my dairy intolerance went away.…

BFed for 31 months. Didn't lose a pound!

Semantics only.

Wiley Brooke's was a late comer. I'm not sure when breatharianism first appeared (possibly in the time of Plato?) but it was well written up in some 60's hippy groovy life style books I read back in the day, ones that talked about vegetarianism, fruitarianism, veganism (which used to be pronounced veh-jun not vee-gun), and…

I bf'ed for 31 months, and didn't lose a pound. BTW-- ebf means extended breast feeding. This refers to breast feeding for longer than a year.

I sold my treadmill to a woman in my running group who wanted to use a treadmill desk. The problem she was finding, was that there was a lot of up-and-down movement on the treadmills even though she was walking slowly. She had tried out a fair number before trying out mine and discovering that it didn't bounce up-and-down.…

Check Title IX. They make real sportswear for real women. However, that said, if you are big, your girls are big, or they are headed south like a determined flock of geese in the fall, buying bras is like buying running shoes: people can recommend until the cows come home, but you really need a fitting (with one of those…

Check out the book "I Quit Sugar." Very humane and tasty. And some good science to read about.

'Banzos and kidney beans. Just rinse.

I love Nike Dri-fit capris (Amazon). They have room if you have a booty and tummy, but also a drawstring for when you lose weight. They wear like iron. I still have the first pair I bought 4 years and hundreds of miles ago. They fit true to size.
-
God! Would you two get a room?

Bizarrely, I really would like to see a "sparkly clean colon." Sounds like it's lined with gems or stars.

From the National Institutes of Health: "the body stores excess amounts, primarily in the liver, and these levels can accumulate. ... Although hypervitaminosis A can be due to excessive dietary intakes, the condition is usually a result of consuming too much preformed vitamin A from supplements or therapeutic retinoids"

If you are taking extra vitamin C, stop.

Ok. I have a new one: white bean extract.

Try Spark People. Their calculator is not flaw free, but you do input your weight so it is probably more accurate.

Two or three times a month. Usually it's dinner, and usually it's a "bag o' death" burgers and fries from our local really awesome burger joint that does gluten-free. Sometimes I do lunch out with a friend, but it's the salad bar. Because it costs so damn much, I usually go easy on the stuff that defeats eating well at the…

Having a regular poop every day is a really fabulous colon cleanse. And as a bonus, it doesn't cost anything more than your regular diet.

Protein powder, detox, cleanse, flush, toxins, thigh gap, spot reduce, keto, paleo, Jillian Michaels. And, kind of meanly, "loose weight." If it's loose, tie it down!

All of the above are great ideas. However, don't be frustrated if you incorporate them and find that your cholesterol is still high. You may be genetically predisposed. My husband was athletic and had very little body fat. He was very conscious of his dietand he still had high cholesterol. He went vegan for a year and a…

Loved the flavor of the old Zevia but it had erythritol in it.

Roasted! Or... Steam long enough to just get tender. Cool rapidly. Chop into 1/4 to 1/2 inch chunks. Put in a bowl with a handful of coarsely chopped pecans, and a handful of Craisins. Toss with a vinaigrette--especially a fruity one like raspberry or pomegranate. Not sure where you stand on mayo, but if you stir some…

Water-walking or jogging burns 563 calories per hour if you weigh 155 pounds, and 654 calories an hour if you weigh 180 pounds. Water-running burns 11.5 calories per minute in comparison with running on land, which burns about 8 calories per minute, according to The Sunday Times. Spark People says 540 if you weigh 180.…
