  • My husband was on amlodipine as well and it caused him to have edema really bad. They switched him to chlorthalid along with losartan and it’s done the trick. Chances are that your weight gain is water weight. But you should discuss it with your doctor of course!
  • I think that depends…I have insulin resistance so I have to not just lower my calories but also lower my carbs. When I’m losing I lose more when I keep my carbs under 100. That’s just my personal experience though🤗. Everyone is different.
  • What is the name of the medication? I am on telmisartan and I am thinking that’s my issue as well.

  • No I’m not estimating! I’m logging everything every day. What I mean by 1,000-1,400 is some days I only eat 1,000 some days I eat 1,100 or some days I eat 1,400. It varies day to day. I weigh everything like I said in my original post as well so I’m being as accurate as I can be. I’m not one of those that “estimates”.

  • I don't like WW because of its inconsistency. They have changed programs so many times! Calories are calories and MFP is consistent and constant. I personally didn't do well with WW because I'm insulin resistant and according to the program I was on a med banana was 2pts but was something like 27 carbs!! So needless to say…
