I agree 100% with this. If I work out, I am not going to ruin my results by eating garbage. BTW, I enjoy working out... but if I ruin my diet afterwards I feel like I missed the opportunity to look and feel better. Guilt might be a way to put it though

I love this thread. I have a LOT of unpopular opinions, but the most unpopular of them all is: Dieting means you will be hungry, there's no way around it. .... I agree with all the above. My 2 cents: you can try weight lifting. (Assuming you don't already). Talk to a trainer about your goals, and rest assured you won't bulk unless you want to. What will happen is, you will gain weight in form of lean mass (yay for being healthy) AND look awesome and pretty thin at the same time…

If you are eating at a 300+ cal deficit, it just means you ate at maintenance. You won't gain.... look at it as a harmless, well deserved break :)

I have been always thin and I've been on maitenance for 8 years now, after losing some 15 vanity pounds. I like being slim and I'm petite so I always watch what I eat... I counted calories in order to lose the little weight I wanted but I don't anymore. I have a very good idea of what normal portions sizes and indulgences…
