Thanks. I am 5'8"-5'9" and I currently weigh between 128-130 (I don't really know for sure as I have a giant effing cast on my foot at the moment). I started seeing my abs after starting the 1/2 marathon training and Insanity program - made it through about the first month of Insanity and about 20 miles a week.

So.. I've been running and doing sit ups.. Also IF (Intermittent fasting). I was also doing Insanity with my running. Side note though - I broke my foot a week ago and haven't done crap other than sit ups and push ups now..

This and also the food portions - making sure they're correct. If you've eaten a lot of sodium it can cause you to hold the water weight and also just plain starting up the exercise again can cause it. Give yourself about 4 weeks to see any progress. Don't give up yet.

I do not use a gym.. I refuse to pay for something I don't need (in my case, I'm not saying having a gym membership is a waste for everyone because I know that's not true!!). I run and have weights at home along with P90X or Insanity. It's what works for me. I like to unwind and de-stress after work by working out.

At the very least be aware what you are sticking in your mouth. Look at the labels so you make yourself aware of how much 1 serving is of what you are eating and try to abide by that.
