Hey Mike! Welcome! Former carbaholic here! Sugar+ carbs = DONUTS!! I've been On a Low Carb High Fat way of eating since Aug. 1. It works. You fuel your body with protein and GOOD fats instead of sugar and carbs. Recipes are my thing too. Add me to your friend list! Thanks!

Exercised for 20 minutes? Yes! 60 minutes with C25K running. 10,645 steps for 4.25 miles. I stayed within my calorie budget. I kept track of everything I ate and drank!

I eat this for breakfast often: 1/2 C 1% Cottage Cheese, 4 sliced strawberries, 2 Tbsp blueberries, 1/2 C chopped pecans. It's a delicious, on the go breakfast!

Hi! I've been Keto since August 1 and love it! I have a 1700 calorie limit and try to keep my carb macros below 20%. There are great recipes on Pinterest and other sites. I Breathe Im Hungry even has a meal plan. Low Carb Traveler is also a good site. I've lost 10 pounds and feel so much better !

I'm turning 53 in September. I'm a mom of 4 and GRANDMA to 1 (they truly are grand!) MFP keeps me accountable and motivation from others keeps it fun! I have found LCHF is easy for me. I'm on Keto and I eat 1700 calories daily allowing for a 500 calories deficit of exercise (walking 3 miles). It works! Stick with it. 800 is just not healthy. Your body needs fuel. Please reconsider your count. :)
