Oh she's a cutie! Our cats each have a dozen names too. Haha

My cats are my nemesis too. Well, actually my boy Bennet is the worst. If I feed him at midnight, he might let me sleep til 6:15. At best I usually get 6 hours before he's coming after me for more - so I can't feed them early to try and get to bed early, or else he just wakes me up early - by knocking schitt of my…

That is so awesome! Congrats to you! I am chronically sleep deprived, and I think I've averaged about 5.5h sleep a night for the last 5 years (according to my fitbit data lol). I guess that's why I think I'd die if I tried to put a barbell on my back first thing in the morning. Half the time I'm falling asleep sitting on…

I hope not! It's a huge goal for me and it's so close I can taste it! Thank you very much!

My babies turned 3 yesterday!

Morning snuggles with my cat, Blitz. It's her (and her brother's) 3rd bday today There's something incredibly healing about a warm purring kitty that likes tummy zerberts. *happy sigh*

This is awesome!!! WAY TO GO!

Thank you very much!

@nossmf and @Minion_training_program thank you both!! I'll play around a bit with these and see how it goes! Also... Deadlifts didn't go as well as I'd hoped. I don't think I warmed up enough for my test as it felt heavier than I expected... (My last PR was 300lb) 295x1 moved quite nicely. 305 attempt 1 failed. This is…

Thank you! I almost gave up. There was a moment when I was sure it was done moving, but it didn't hurt and the form was feeling solid so I kept pushing. It felt so amazing when it started to climb again. Somehow I need to train that sticking spot though... not sure what exercise is best for that one. Any suggestions? 3/4…

Loving that I can see leg muscle through my jeans. 😊 Also, say hi to Bennett in the background. It's his 3rd Bday tomorrow. 😂 p.s. that's a kleenex in my pocket... lol, not lumpy butt syndrome

Thanks Gus! Next up... Deadlifts! Eeeek

My bench has been disappointing me lately, so I decided to try an experiment a friend is running... It's basically benching every day but only one set at a 5rep max. So you warm up, rest, and then push 5 reps at the heaviest you can go. If you get 5 reps, you up the weight 5lbs and then do as many reps as you can each day…

Congrats on the heartrate. Boo to the way the measurements make you feel.i get that! But damn... For 300$, I'd let the Dr sing shamu every time I walked into his office! 😂

Haha that made me laugh out loud! I was doing bench every workout because I only lift 2x a week, so I didn't want to go a week between sessions for my weakest lift. That said I decided to try something different for bench, so I'll be doing bench at home and the rest at the gym. 😊 Way to push through. Your sessions sound…

That sounds pretty cool... is it on YouTube or a DVD? Also... feel free to stick around. You don't need to lurk!

It's really hard to know what to offer here as advice, as each persons' situation is different. Lots of people will shift their meals to different times of day to accommodate work... so they might have "supper" type foods at noon, before they go to work, and keep the evening meal lighter (similar to a lunch). it would seem…

I guess we cheered each other on! Love that! #wehaveanawesometribe

This makes me so dayum happy for you! I was cheering you on with 155kg (startled my cats, even! LOL) What an awesome battle and even with such a battle, your form is solid! You're the best!

Lifted tonight. Bench was a disappointment. Not sure why, but blech. I was supposed to get 3 sets of 125x2, but instead I got 2,1,1. Just wasn't in the tank. Deadlifts, while not going according to plan, still made me happy. I got 2 sets of 2 at 290lbs. I tried a 3rd set but felt form breaking so I stopped. So much happier…

I going to check this out. I am also undiagnosed, but am positive I have ADHD and am sub clinically autistic. I could really use some help. ❤️

The app is on the play store (possibly Apple too) and it's called Daily Yoga. It let's you pick your exercise based on area and/or complexity. I have found two series I like cycling through that work on hips, legs, back and shoulders. I've been using it for just over a year and really like it. 😊 Not sure if this will…

It doesn't seem to matter what weight I do... If I do more than 12 squats, I get very winded. I also OFTEN lose track of my count if it's over 8 lmao. Ohhh the joys of ADHD. I think a regular requirement of 15 reps would make me miserable. Lol I am curious to see how you like it!

It does get easier and it's totally worth it!

Yes, it's an unprogrammed deload week and then I test 1rms. I haven't quite figured out what to do for deload, so I haven't recorded it yet! Good catch!
-
I read through your posts and it's so clear that I have so much to learn. Lol thank you all for sharing. Right now I am doing only 2 sessions a week. So I broke mine up into a and b. Because bench is my weakest lift, I do it both days. This is roughly what my current plan looks like. Workout A: Bench / Squat / ohp /lat…

my sister and I used to go to the gym every saturday for a couple hours... we dawdled in the change room, did some weight machines, yapped and chuckled, did a bit of cardio and then left... hitting McDonalds on the way home for a big mac meal as a treat. We're lucky if we burned 300 calories, and then went and consumed…

Note... I actually put that sticker in the vid because the cellulite in that position was sooooo bad. 😳 I still cannot do a wide leg forward fold, but I used to not be able to sit upright even, so a bit of a fold is way better than before!
