Thank you everyone for your replies. Sounds like there is a general consensus that this close to race day, there isn't much I should do to lose weight. Seems like eating for maintenance for now is the most sensible thing to do.

I tried doing the 21 day fix when I was recovering from injury, and even with the modifier, I got even more injured trying to follow the 21 day fix program. So I quit about half way through. If you've already got some physical aches/pains/ailments, I wouldn't recommend jumping right into the 21 day fix. I would recommend…

I just joined the ilovetorun challenge of walking/running 1000 miles in 2017. I had the same goal in 2016 but didn't make it due to several severe injuries. Hopefully my injuries will heal now so I can accomplish this goal. So it looks like we have the same goal. I'm in!
