Vegan here, I add soaked cashews to my pasta sauces (in a food processor or blender) it makes everything taste rich and creamy. Has 20g protein in half a cup of cashews. You can also add them to smoothies and nice cream!

Since going vegan I have noticed a significant difference in how I feel. It really helps with mood, sleep, energy etc. That being said you so need to rethink the way you plan a meal.
