I love apple cider vinegar straight. I used to mix it with honey before my keto days. My grandfather drinks 3 tbsp. honey and vinegar mixture. He has for years. Helps his immunity and joints and other things. Any other ideas? All are welcome. Thanks.

Not sure what stores you have available. I have to second the sardines idea. Also, eggs are very cheap at our Aldi's. Do you ever coupon? I do at Food Lion and some others. Also, some stores reduce meat near the expiration date. Wife and I have found great deals on chicken legs, thighs, lamb, rib-eyes (rarely though), etc.…

Haven't really done what I would consider a full fledged cheat. The breaded piece of fish and chicken or 2 or 3 at the boat show in South Carolina taught me a lesson. Nothing bad happened, but keto number was surely down a lot. I agree with a lot of the others on here. If I had a full cheat meal or day, it would return…

What about dietary also? Does anyone try to have a streak with as little or no "fill in the blank". Like sweetener, dairy, fat bombs, etc. So many days or meals without sweetener, for example.

Yeah I feel I am doing good so far also. I was thinking of trying some different things though. Maybe cut way back on dairy even though my morning shake is 4 tbsp. of heavy cream. The wife uses cheeses in keto recipes also. I would have to cook and prepare other foods and my shake does me well. Then, I thought, well dairy…

I was the same way. Fast loss and then slow. I listened to the peeps here. They reminded me that the body has to catch up. One thing I caught myself doing was nibbling on things I shouldn't. My son's chicken tenders that were breaded. Or whatever. Not saying You are doing that. Just saying.

Oh I know. A lady my wife is close to gave us some Russel Stovers candy once... sugar free. Two pieces, many bathroom visits, and 6 pounds later, I live to tell the story. Xylitol I think was the culprit.

So far, I have used Splenda in my coffee when I used to drink coffee on the regular. It was fine both taste and effect on my body. We have used truvia packets in our tea and coffee. That was fine both ways too. We are using Stevia liquid more than the packets. They have been fine both ways also. Maybe I just agree with all…

Well the wife has used mainly the liquid stevia in the little bottle. Truvia very rarely. Erithytol also here and there. So tell me about sucralose. I thought things ending in -ose was sugar. Please enlighten me.
