Like I said, just in a rut I guess. Not sure if it is food boredom, thinking that the extra fat bomb is going to stall my results, etc. I also thought this was the rule of thumb: If your weight decreases, shouldn't you adjust calories to your current weight and not where you started. For me, should I still be eating like I…

Not quite 30. I think 22-26 pounds. It sways back and forth. Just in a rut I guess.

For some reason here lately, I am trying to distinguish between hunger eating and habit eating. It's like now I can't tell. I think a craving that I am trying to stay away from is getting to me. General Tso's chicken!!! But I have not cheated yet. Not going to.
-
@samanthaluangphixay I was kidding. I actually never even count that in when I am eating. I act like it ain't even there. Thanks.
-
So does this mean I can eat all that backmin calories? Not I bet...
-
I will do this as weigh-in Friday since we weighed in at work today for the contest. End of May: 262 lbs Started keto on August 22 August 26: 255.5 lbs September 21: 236.6 lbs September 30: 232 lbs

@bowlerae Do I have that listed somewhere where I said my calories are 1100? If so, that is a mistake on my part. I eat 1600 a day or about there. Please let me know where I have that so I can change it. Thanks
-
I totally agree with it not being an exact science. I will say that I weigh everything. It has worked for me. Starting weight the middle of August was 255.5. Today, weighed in at 232. I will take the strategy I am using. I wish I was even more exact some days. Bacon alone and homemade mixed foods like my Brussels sprouts…

I know that's right... I am trying to do the same.

@ccrdragon ... I am sedentary. More active than I used to be. I try to get at least 12,000 steps in a day. So, would your HIIT and weights require more protein? Or is it just based on what you have in your settings for MFP? Thanks agian.
-
Thanks @ccrdragon ... what is your current weight if you don't mind me asking? Are you active or sedentary? Many thanks.
-
@ladipoet So since I am trying to lose weight, does my protein intake still seem low with me being 5 ft 9 inches tall and 233 pounds. Thanks
-
I am 5 feet 9 inches tall. And 233 pounds right now. Trying to lose. Since I am trying to lose should my protein still be increased some.
-
Will someone check mine and provide some feedback or I could just post a day or a few days here.
-
I know it has 2 grams of sugar, but I watch carbs like crazy the rest of the day. Many thanks!!!

I am afraid of telling because I am afraid the experts will say it isn't keto. But please let me say first I have lost 21 pounds in 32 days. I have it every weekday morning. Purely Inspired Organic Protein. The plant based one. Not the nutritional shake one in the white container. Okay, let heads roll...LOL
-
Ok will try that. For 8 ounces of almond milk, 6 tbsp of heavy cream, and a scoop of protein powder, does 1 tbsp of cocoa powder sound like enough?

Well took my son to doctor today. My doctor. Son has strep, go figure. But I told her about my weight loss and that I was doing keto. She said see you in November to run those labs/panels. Can't wait. I hope I impress her with some good numbers.

Only 2 grams

Gotta go with roasted asparagus with dill, butter or olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic. The wife made the cauliflower gratin with tons of black pepper. Awesome. Roasted squash with salt, pepper, dill, garlic, and melt some Parmesan on top.
-
Oh got ya. Figures.

Thanks @ProCoffeenator. That helps. Add fat here and there to whatever. But @bowlerae my chart shows 75% fat and 21% protein. Three times as much fat as protein. But in grams I have 115 fat and 72 protein. That ain't even double the protein.
-
Well, my in laws know how to do it up...
-
Yeah I was getting my steps is walking around the store.
-
I checked it after I was on keto about 2 weeks. It was 126 over 83. Before keto about 140 over high 80s.

Heavy whipping cream. Also pecans. Folks let me know if pecans are okay. One ounce has 3 grams of protein and 20 grams of fat.

Well I have this brown Eddie Bauer belt that I wear almost daily. I used to always be able to buckle it on the last hole (in the good direction lol). A few months back not so much. Then, I was like, no way, I am putting it on the last hole no matter what. This about cut me in half, but I kept on. I would go home after a…

Yeah I was looking at that part on My Fitness Pal and was just wondering. I don't try to eat those calories back. Actually, I just leave it as is. Just wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing.

Total Day Energy Expenditure. Just what you normally do in a day. Mostly related to job, home, and stuff like that. For me, a lot of walking at work and right when I get home until after dinner is done and dishes are washed and put up. I will soon be adding a daily walk.

I am a spreadsheet nerd also. I just started trying to get 12,000 steps a day this week. Downloaded Stepz and like it a lot. That was one of the reasons as far as some type of activity. I figured while waiting on kids to enter the classroom or while they are at their lockers or during my planning or during the 20 minutes…
