I'm a newbie looking for information on balanced meals. There has got to be an easier way to eat right but not go crazy trying to figure out the calorie count. I need to eat more carbs, but I also need meal ideas, as well (eating for the 4am run, snacks that help you survive to the next meal, etc). Suggestions?

My doctor checked me for ketones, only trace amounts were found. Queenliz made the comment that my smell "does not make sense"....exactly! To requalify my statement, I normally don't smell it myself. Itsgattago....I have been on the same road as you, but in a different lane. I seem to give off an ammonia smell an hour or so after eating....without exercising. If I walk past people, I hear "Whew!" or faint whistling. People hold their noses or turn their heads when I come into a room. Eat carbs? Done that! Go the veggie…
