I gained 15lbs after breaking my collarbone in a moto accident, having surgery nearly a month later, and being in a sling for 5 weeks after that. Don't let your injury allow you to get lazy, I wish I hadn't. You'll be back in the game soon enough, and if your doctor prescribes physical therapy, DO IT. It will make your…

I've finally gotten the hang of making healthier choices as far as calorie counting, watching sugar, carbs, protein, etc. If I were to pick up a bag of M&Ms in a store because I wanted to eat some, I would see the 250 calories (and mostly the 34g sugar,) and think to myself, "wow, that's a lot!" Not because 250 is a lot of…

Hello! I'm currently planning a round-the-world trip with my boyfriend on our DR650s. Planning on leaving mid to late 2017. Part of the reason I'm getting fit is for more endurance off-road.

I'm a huge fan of CalMag drinks like Calm or A to B Calm. I use it when I go snowboarding since it's so intense and I rarely do it, I'm usually crazy sore the next day. It really helps!

Here to brag. I did my first track weekend last weekend (on a Triumph Bonneville... the only non-sport bike on the track,) and it was SO MUCH FUN!

If you want less cramps and lighter periods, DON'T get the paragard copper IUD. But, that being said, I've had it for a year now, and my periods have finally gotten regular, and cramps fewer, and I'm glad to not be on hormonal BC... but the last year suuuuucked.

It's good to hear that you're already thinking about it. Therapy is extremely taboo to many people. I know it took my SO a few years to tell me about a childhood trauma of his, too, and about his own self-esteem issues, and it only started to come out because of therapy. He started going to therapy first, then I joined him…

Reading your post made my heart hurt a bit. It sounds like your diet isn't the only area of your life where your marriage is struggling. It seems like there has been a real break down in communication between you two. I'm no therapist, but I have attended couples therapy with my SO and it changed both of us immensely. It…

I feel fortunate that my long-term-boyfriend is joining me on the journey to be healthier and more fit. We go to the gym together about half the time (if I'm not hitting up the one right across the street for my work.) We are still working through the diet differences, though. He is 6'3" ~160lbs, so his goal is to gain…

DOMS are best resolved with... more activity! Try to keep your muscles moving to ward off some of that soreness.

Exercise is actually supposed to help alleviate period pain. If anything, it can help keep your mind off of it! I doubt it will make it worse.

My boyfriend is a tall skinny guy, and I think a slender, but not super tight fit looks best.

Holy hour glass, batman! Great job!

I recently bought my very first protein shake powder (Vega Essentials Shake) for post-lifting at the gym. I was considering having it with almond milk occasionally for breakfast. My usual breakfast is a piece of toast with peanut butter or some fruit yogurt, but those are killing me on the carbs/calories/sugar. I figured…

Sprinkled cake donuts. They are both tasty *and* cute! And there is a 24-hour donut shop 2 blocks from my house.
