My method was intuitive honestly. It was before I joined MFP. I lost over 50 pounds just by eating intuitively with little exercise. I'm on MFP maintaining now. I did gain some weight back but am shrinking/leaning at the same time while doing lots of exercise especially lifting weights.

For me it depends on my diet. Example- On a low carb diet, I can barely manage a 250 deficit (never again lol). I'm always hungry. But on a high carb diet, I can manage a 700 deficit easily. I recently set my MFP goal to maintenance but have been noticing deficits from all the exercise I do (I never eat my exercise…

True with general/basic pancakes. I personally make my own though (lowfat). Ingredients are rice flour, egg whites, cashew milk, vanilla extract (sometimes a mashed banana), and topped with pure maple syrup (although I've been searching everywhere for Walden Farms brand lol).

Really? I would've never guessed this would be the norm especially with all the low carb hype I see online. Do you have any links? I'm interested in reading :)

Yes, I take 10,000 steps per day and workout 30-60 minutes 5-6 days a week. I originally disregarded that thought though, considering there's many low-carb active fitness people out there. But I'll take your word for it :)

Thanks, that's a good idea to see the doctor. I just wish I knew the cause, like right away. I'm anxious. I'm not sure if it's dehydration as I've been drinking a gallon of water a day just to counter as much of the bloating as I can. Another thing to add, I was drinking pickle juice as well. Ugh...

Alright, thanks!

Is it possible to be good at both? Or will there always be one that you're much better at? I'll give the endurance training more practice and go slower next time by the way.

I'm not sure what defines as training for running but as I stated before, I have tried pacing myself with runs, including on the elliptical but I still get burnt out quick. I need a better approach. What's couch to 10k?

I'm comparing because I needed to identify if this struggle was personally me or a general thing. Not trying to ignore my body. I just thought of adding more variety, as well trying out what I saw my family members do. I was even hoping one day I could join them in a 5k. My mom has brought it up before.

I rarely do. The main reason is that exercise wipes out my appetite for a long period of time, for some reason lol. I'll sometimes force a protein shake down after the workout but will make sure its accounted for my regular daily calories and just use it as a snack or meal replacement.
