8 lbs in 1 day is a little stretched.Did you check yourself on the same scale, and at the same time? But I also believe in weighing myself everyday. While I understand small fluctuations, it keeps me in check and provides the required motivation.

yes, it makes perfect sense. I also try to maintain consistency. More on training days and less on non training ays approach does not seem to work with me. PS: Its only been a week, but I love crossfit too!!

Hey Thanks for this... yes I'm using MFP calorie goal. I've heard mixed opinions about eating exercise calories back, so Im a bit skeptical. I lost a little over 60 lbs over a period of one year through diet and exercise. I now have to lose 5-6 lbs more but really struggling. The scale hasn't budged for 3 months now!!

Its ok if you're in size 22 now... Take action now, so that you're not in it one year down the line!
-
Please do the same to me... Count me in!!

I'm aiming for 5 days of crossfit and a 10 km run on Sundays. But I do realize maintaining 6 days is tough...(there's work and friends and everything else which requires time). I'm ok with 5 days of workout also.

I agree with Wakeup2014 above.. Infact it has happened too many times for me that I've been stuck on a weight for some time. And then when I think I pigged out and the battle is lost, my body surprises me with a loss!! So sometimes its actually a good thing to do. Please dont feel horrible, this only shows you're human!! :)

I started crossfit a week back and it is getting difficult to stay within my calorie goal. I feel so hungry I could eat an elephant!

I want to do this too!! I'm down 40 lbs and now struggling to lose more. I'm currently at 149lbs.... and would like to be 130!!

I like lifting too.... but had a lot of weight to lose...so cardio was a necessity...I do both

Hi...I can totally relate to this...I've been fat for most of my life.... went down from 87 KGS to 60 KGS a few years back and then gained all of it back during pregnancy! I'm once again in this battle against weight!! Phew!
