  • Don't give up. Stick with the program forever, day by day. I have had health problems with neuropathies and pain. I have had to take pain meds that put the weight back on. I now go to an acupuncturist, and that takes care of my pain. Now I have to lose the weight. I weigh 159, and I want to weigh 150 as a short-term goal.
  • It is important to not eat or drink sweet things. When you feel like overeating, go to the gym or go for a walk instead. Good luck! I lost 30 pounds in 10 months. I am 5'6" and now weigh 160. I wear a size 8 or 10 now. Good for you! You can do it. I want to lose 10 more pounds from now until August. I hope that I can do it.
  • Thank you! Very interesting results.
  • I am 5'6" and I weigh 143 pounds, without clothes. I want to be 140, but I am already a size 6, and I don't care to get any smaller. I started out at 190 and a size 16. It took me a year to lose it all. Start by eating right. For me 80% of my weight loss was eating the healthy foods...20% was exercise. I get tired of…
  • What is considered a large frame? I am 5'6", and was 190 pounds when I started dieting and exercising, using My Fitness Pal (so inexpensive!). This beats joining Weight Watchers at $14.00 a week. I have lost about 45 pounds.
  • Congratulations! Keep it up!
  • I realized that 80% of my weight loss was what food I put in my mouth. So yes, you can lose weight by not eating too much food, or the wrong kinds of foods. For me, 20% of weight loss is exercise. I do about 45 minutes of cardio a day, 5 days a week. I do about 30 minutes of weights, 3-4 days a week. I swim 2 days a week…
  • I eat well 80% of the time. I may cheat a little 20% of the time. This may be a little cookie or a handful of mixed nuts. I may go to a party and eat some fettucine alfredo or eat a piece of pizza. Cheating is O.K. as long as you limit this. If you are truly into weight loss and becoming more healthy, cheating becomes less…
  • I would watch for the sales at the grocery stores in your area. The sale fliers come out on Wednesdays in our state (California). Yesterday I bought asparagus for $1.99 a pound, cucumbers for 49 cents each, a small watermelon for $1.99, and dare I say it..an avocado for $1.00. The avocados are good for you, but fattening.…
  • Costco has a good roasted chicken, ready to go. It is $4.99. Is it just you, or how many people eat at dinner? Anyway... The first night I make chicken breast and vegetables. The second night I make tacos. The third night I make a salad with shredded chicken. The fourth night I make a chicken noodle soup. All from the same…
  • when I eat cottage cheese, I don't make a protein shake.
  • For the quiche, what is the temperature for baking?
