  • Yes, Technically that's true..but you've heard people say "Food is my Drug". Maybe it's the blood sugar rush then crash cycle..or it could be ALL psychological. Who knows. Fruits and Veggies I'm fine, but flour, sugar really trigger eating behaviors that kinda mimic what a drug addict goes through Urge-Urge Fulfilled-Feel…
  • I'm happy you can't fathom that thinking. I wouldn't wish eating disorders on anyone. For many people Carbs cause urges to overeat (binge). Just the way it is for SOME people.
  • The thing about Keto is it allows many people to eat to satiety without any of the associated binging and otherwise destructive behaviors that a high card diet eventually brings. For many carbs are almost like a drug and mess up our normal appetite signals from the bloodsugar swings and cravings that ensue. I haven't found…
  • Bacon, French fries, Milkshake, Bagel with Cream Cheese, Slather butter on veggies, Nuts, Olives. Drink Calories if you must. I wish I had that problem. lol.
  • Yes, these drugs are notorius for rapid weight gain which certainly doesn't help mental health situation. At one point for a few years I was on Clonazapam, Seroquel, Buspirone, and Ativan. I started making positive changes RE: Social anxiety and forced myself outside everyday and treated it as a workout so to speak. Before…
  • I find Low Carb extremely easy Long-Term. No Binging tendencies, No food fantasies. For me Carbs always lead to the cycle of indulge, guilt, restrict, indulge. For weight loss I do better on low-fat, high carb but it's difficult to maintain. Everyone's Different. Currently Doing Keto and enjoying the peace of mind of not…
  • I have a 7 year old and he's an only child. Me and Wife are his main playmates. 6 months ago I could hardly play 5 minutes with him. I want to be able to play soccer and have sword battles with him and not be exhausted so quickly. The other reason is I feel uncomfortable above a certain weight. Shirts fit too tight, I get…
  • I love my easy Run days. Easy days remind why I run in the first place, Because Running feels great when it's not overly taxing.
  • Treadmill...something so Natural about running that it makes my body happy to run. Weird to describe. Elliptical is a strange motion to me.
  • C25K and don't be afraid to repeat a week..let your body adapt. It seems like Cardio can Improve quicker than your muscles and tendons. Injury prevention when starting out is paramount. Nothing worse than having to stop completely.
  • I wanted my body used to running often so I ran 6 days a week..but my easy days were VERY easy. Very comfortable Walk/jogs at first. Not recommending it, that's just what I wanted.
  • Cold Bath..or Ice after running does wonders for me. Foam Rolling as well. Expect your body to hurt in certain places..Take it easy. If the discomfort makes you change stride in any way stop. C25K is a wonderful program. Basically it's just walk/run until you can run 30 mins continuously. It may take you 3 weeks or 3…
  • BodyBuilders "appear" more muscular after a cut, it's an illusion from the deepening curves and slopes that get revealed from less Fat AND Water. That is not New Muscle. If you want to build New Muscle Mass you need to be in an Anabolic state...stuffing your face will do that, rather than shuttling those nutrients into…
