I agree with zyxst. That way you don't feel deprived and you get to enjoy it again the next day. Usually I end up being satisfied on half a meal.

I was on a strict allergy diet once. Very low carbs and fat. Since I have a diabetic son, I was able to test my blood sugar during that time. My blood sugars were 29-30 range. For acid reflux I use vanilla yogurt, one ripe banana, a little fresh ginger. Blend up into a smoothie. Works every time.

I'm new at this so I have a few questions. What is BMR and TDEE? I am 60 years old and have Systemic Lupus among other auto immune issues. My activity level is very, very low. I am 5' 4" tall. In 4 weeks I lost 7 pounds. I have always had low blood pressure but will check it next time I feel that way to see if it's dropping more. I raised my calories up 100 also. Great advice here. Thanks!!!

Looking through my diary, I notice many days I am only getting 60-70% of my daily protein. Will have to work on that.

I started on September 10th. I will raise my calories per day to see if that helps. I thought 1200 was low to start out at when I was 190 pounds. Usually it lowers as you lose weight. Right?

I have Systemic Lupus. Exercise makes it flare. I try to get a good balance but some days are difficult. Maybe I need to work on the balance.

Don't do any part of a routine that puts stress on your knees. At least until you have lost weight. If there is any jumping, I would replace with lifting your legs. You will still get the benefits. Walking and dancing is another good exercise.
