I don't do much on the forums, but I do love looking through my friend's feed on MFP. When I can't keep up with my own goals, I can at least offer positive comments to other people here. It's awesome!

I do! Anxiety often makes me feel ill in addition to fatigue & low motivation, so it's very difficult. I'm having some success with recognizing I'm going to have days I can't take care of my health. Using tips for people with executive dysfunction has helped a lot too. Still searching for that magical spoon granting…

Hi! I've been here for a bit, but concentrated more on getting started for awhile rather than making friends. It would be awesome to know more people here!

I'll add you. :)

I count mine, because I want to make sure I'm getting enough net calories. Otherwise, that gets unhealthy. Plus, I find it's easier to eat a balanced diet with all the nutrients I need if I'm able to eat more.

I second Siggis. Best yogurt I've ever had. I'm fond of bringing boiled eggs, string cheese, and protein bars wherever I go. Easy to transport, and they help me balance out the carbs that seem to fill out the rest of the day. Also, containers of strawberries - small bite sized things that taste great and don't offer a lot…

I've added you. Good luck!

I recommend committing to doing extra exercise if you're still hungry after hitting your calorie goals, or planning out exercise in advance so you have extra calories available. That way, you still only eat your designated calorie count, but don't have to feel like you are starving. I've been doing that, and I don't feel…

I lost a little over 2 pounds in two weeks. It's what I expected since I've been following my diet/exercise rigorously. But it's so nice to sws the scale go down instead of up! Haven't seen that happen in a year or two. This gives me a nice boost in confidence that I'm on the right track!

I've found this is fine. In the past, I would skip 100 calories every day, and then use them up on a day I knew there'd be lots of food. I still lost weight, and didn't feel out of the ordinary. I wouldn't recommend this if you are on a really low calorie, tight diet (like 1200 - 1500 calories a day).

From what I've read, humans seem to be able to live on a variety of diets, provided there's enough variety and the right amounts of nutrition. It seems like relying solely on soy and a lot of the typical ready made mock meats is not good, but switching it up with things like beans would be fine. There doesn't seem to be a…

I'd appreciate some friends!

I've recently started going vegan (except for eggs). It's for all the reasons - environment, health, and animal welfare. Also because my husband and I want to have a hobby farm one day, and we only want to eat what we can conceivably produce without problems. I've had good luck with Daiya, and Gardein products…
