I know when I tried it, I thought it might be that at first. But looking back, it just helped me increase my water intake. And when I didn't use it and continued with the same amount of water I got the same results.

Never thought about the wording but you're right. Laughing so hard at that line though.

I would suggest checking out the exercise libraries at Exrx.net/ or at Bodybuilding.com There are a lot of dumbbell alternatives that you can do for those exercises and both sites also show videos as well as written instruction. Assuming the gym has a bench, so doing bench presses are similiar except you're working with…

How long have you been at it that you haven't been seeing any loss? Are you also comparing measurements to see if maybe you're losing inches rather than the scale #? Do you actually weigh out your portions or are you more eyeballing them? ETA - And if you're already at what a healthy weight (I'm assuming) and just looking…

That might just be where the problem lies to be honest. I think quite a few people are unaware about PubMed which is why they might be more readily willing to turn to a blog site when presented with info. OP if you google just the name PubMed, it'll pull up info about their site. Copy and pasted from a few summaries that…

I would consult with your doctor or with a physical therapist. There are quite a few ab/core exercises that can aggravate back issues like sit ups and crunches (ab machine definitely included in this). As for the lat pulldown - unless you were going too heavy too fast and not properly positioned, I'm not entirely sure how…

Would really like that link. Does the link also provide in the video or a link to details about his overall diet and possible other medical conditions (or statements that ruled out any thing else)? Was the amount of creatine monitored? (meaning did he use as directed or did he overuse the product) Does it show the actual…

So that makes it alright to insult those that do use it and spread misinformation about the product?

Not trying to be "negative" but I think if you haven't found any other shakes or meal ideas that would be as easy other than a drive through - then maybe you haven't really looked or asked in the right places. There are tons in grocery stores alone and this site consistently puts ideas out for shakes, meals, etc whether on…

I don't think calling out a business that was recently involved in a serious lawsuit that ended up with the FTC getting involved and sending out money to the 350,000 victims from it's scam "being negative"

If someone chooses to simply and abruptly address a question in a matter-of-fact way because that might be how they are (even though I honestly think that in this case the "tone" received was more your issue than what it really was) - that's their right. Why do "you" think that trying to tell someone how to act and talk is…

*nod nod* Some of the flavorings are super tasty.

So instead of relying on actual science (taking into account really reading through even when there are contradictions so you can see where the contradictions or uncertainty lay in each conclusion) you're going to take the word of random people on the internet?
-
Have you been weighing out a majority of everything you've been eating? Or just eyeballing?

Honestly, if you managed to lose 10lbs in 3 weeks it would probably be mostly water weight and wouldn't actually affect your size as much as you think it will. You gained 10lbs in 8 weeks, so to be realistic it is going to take that long at the least to lose that. Instead of trying to crash diet and exercise, maybe just…

100% agreed. Otherwise someone better tell all the Asians they are totally doomed to be forever fat. Lol.

^I agree with mmapags and wonder the same question because the studies are going to give you the answer you actually need. As for personal anecdotes -> no, they don't "speed up recovery." Aside from a placebo effect, I'd be willing to also put out there that your sister's body probably got used to working out and the DOMS…

Oh I see what you mean now. That would make it easier when comparing.

I think they are. A majority of the foods I get and weigh have gram measurements on them.

What? What is your definition of "highly processed?" Do you know how long shiratake noodles have been around? Centuries at the least.

Like most of us? I thought you only consumed one macro...which is what the original question was.

Like with Toriko?

I had tried to quit twice before and went without for a few months but fell back onto the smoke wagon. I even tried the slowly cut down approach - but that didn't go anywhere at all. Third time was my charm and have been smoke free since Aug. 29, 2012. I had been smoking for almost well over a decade before I quit and was…

Unless the restaurant provides a calorie guideline for their foods, the only thing to do is find an entry that may be similar. And for Chinese restaurants there are tons. If it isn't something you are doing every day - then don't overthink it. Just find a similar entry and do your best to budget your calories for that…

Which doctors would that be? Because many doctors don't actually have a lot of knowledge in regards to nutrition, etc, which is why it is usually recommended to go see a Registered Dietitian. But either way, any doctor that tells you that I'd be very wary of and potentially would find another.

^This. It might seem like a lot of effort but you'd be surprised how easy it is to just input as you go along. Or you can just write down each of the ingredients and the amounts you use along the way and enter it all at once later on. Once it is in there, it's just a matter of adjusting the measurements next time you make…
