You can find it anywhere for really cheap since it's been around awhile. I bought it on iTunes for $4.99

It's a Jillian Michaels program and yes originally a DVD. It's 20 minutes and follows a 3-2-1 plan. 3 minutes strength, 2 minutes cardio, 1 minute abs and you do 3 circuits that are all different (different strength moves, cardio and ab moves). There are 3 levels that get progressively harder and the idea is to do each of…

I think I'm going to stick with doing level 2 15 times and level 3 15 times. Day 9 of level 2 tomorrow!
-
That's amazing! I'm on level 2 day 8 tomorrow. How is level 3?
-
I HATE the cardio in level 2 as well! And those awful chair squat v-raises. On that note, day 7 level 2 tomorrow.
-
Been doing it since mid June. Only 3 times a week and in between I do cardio. Finished day 6 level 2 today. There's another thread on here somewhere on the shred as well. Lots of posts. Happy shredding ladies!
-
Well done! I had to take Friday off because of shin splints. Back on the plan today. Level 2 day 5. I've lost 8lbs so far.
-
Finished level 2, day 4 this morning. I'm doing Anita's version of the chair squat v-raises now and that's still really hard but I'm better at them. Day 5 on Friday.
-
That's amazing, I can't run to save my life but I did go paddle boarding and had a really good time! But doing shred afterwards nearly killed me, lol! Do you think you'll add jogging into the program?[/quote] I really want to because I would love to do a 10k in November and work my way up to a half marathon but I don't…

Like this is what I mean.
-
You could try the plank jacks and jumps on your arms. You'll still have to use your core and resistance but less pressure on the shoulders.
-
Join us! We're all at different places and we all do things a little differently but we're all dedicated to the shred!
-
I did level 2 day 3 today and will do Day 4 on Wednesday, day 5 on Friday. I would take a break in between to let your shoulder rest. I find this to be REALLY hard on shoulders. Still suck at the V-Raises. Hoping it improves! My legs hurt today for some reason too. Went for a jog yesterday which I don't often do so maybe…

No only 10 days for level 1. It never got "easy" but I was able to get through it without stopping and I know level 2 is heavy on the core which is where I need to improve the most so I felt it was time to move on. 15 times for level 2 is reasonable. Not sure I'll ever be good at the chair squat v-raises.
-
Just started level 2 today. I'm going to do it 15 times which will take me 5 weeks. Then I will do level 3. Doing it this way seems to keep me on track rather than doing it everyday and I get sore and can't hardly move. The elliptical in between really helps stretch the muscles out.
-
@smehrjou I think I might try ripped in 30 but I won't be done the shred until September anyway. I am already seeing results so you will absolutely see results. I stick to about a 1700/calorie day diet because my job is also very physical.
-
I honestly only do it three times a week and I'm between I do elliptical. Sundays I rest. I'm also not in a hurry to shed pounds I just want to feel good. I'm planning on doing Jillian all summer long! I'm on level 1 day 8 tomorrow.
-
It was 4.99 on iTunes for the whole 30DS. I also noticed it was gone from YouTube so just decided to buy it.
-
I started the 30DS last Monday but I'm only doing it Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and then I do the elliptical on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So I did day 4 today. I find this works better for me because the elliptical days allow me to stretch the muscles out. I'm a housekeeper so being so sore I can't move doesn't work lol!

Just an update. Finally got my Fitbit Alta and started using it yesterday. I so far really like it and it has definitely become a motivating factor for me. Didn't bother buying one with the HR function and it's used but it's working great and I can't wait to track my first run with it!
-
Is there an app aside from MFP that can sort of do what the Fitbit does? I put my phone down often and never have it with me on a run or doing the elliptical or cross fit so I can't see calories I've potentially burned. If there was an app I would totally use that! Anyway. Fitbit is on its way and my husband got it cheap…
-
Great thread @STLBADGIRL! And well done couples new and old!
-
@jillybeansalad that makes sense. My husband won me a used Fitbit alt on eBay. So I'm starting with that one for now.
-
I also like hearing their customer service is great and I think I'll opt for a warranty as well.
-
I certainly didn't take it as negativity. I asked for opinions and I'm appreciative of all the comments whether they are pro or con. It's helping me to make my decision. So thank you!
-
This is all very good info. I can see some cons for sure but most are pros. Think I'll try one. I love the idea of challenging myself and I didn't even know about challenge groups! Love it!
-
I'm a MAJOR numbers gal. So I think I'd really like it. Thank you! And thanks to everyone who responded! I may look for a used one first and see how I like it but really the one I want is $129.99 which I feel is reasonable.

I own my own business which is a housecleaning business (would love a Fitbit that counted stairs). But out of curiosity...how can an employer ban them? That's terrible!
-
Was super sick all last week. But starting level 3 today. I have two weeks until my friend's wedding. Would be nice to feel confident!
-
I have four more days left of level 2. I've never done level 3 before so I'm excited to make it this far!
