I'm from Charlotte, but living in Wilmington. My starting weight was 303! At 288 after a month on here. Feel free to add me!

Thanks! :) I think I can handle it. I go fairly slow, but I know I am physically running. The stride is totally different from a walk haha

Thanks guys! I will trust my body, when it wants more food I will feed it (as appropriate, not exceeding calorie goal). Put my mind to ease. I'll be sure to grab more Greek yogurts, as that's a lot of protein right there and it's a good dairy snack. :)

I'm doing the last run of week one tomorrow! Nervous about moving to the next week, but I'm going to try on Sunday!

Just completed Day 2! Couldn't do it until it was dark, and my husband didn't want me to go at night by myself, so he did it with me! It helped me to have someone there with me, and he stayed at my pace which was nice as I know he can go much faster! :)

Chick-fil-a, first fast-food in a couple weeks, but was about unavoidable this time. 8 Piece Grilled Nuggets (for the first time! It's basically marinated grilled chicken breast cut into "nuggets") Med Waffle Fries (this was a screw up, I ordered fruit but was too tired to go back, but I enjoyed them until I found they…

Well, I do have plenty to exercises I enjoy. I was a competitive swimmer growing up and get in the pool whenever I can. I also enjoy workouts that Incorporate dance. A big reason I'm hoping to learn to like or even love walking and running, is because I love trails and nature and hiking and want to enjoy that to the best…

It's nice to see soany who grew up with their parents instilling a knowledge and love for veggies! I know when I have kids, I will be doing that. Also nice to know I'm not alone when it comes to the meat making the meal growing up, or maybe the starch. Haha

Just got a Fitbit Flex for $40 on a local yard sale site! Not waterproof, but I can deal with it going into fall and winter, and upgrade later to a waterproof and HR included one. Probably the Garmin HR. Thanks for the help!

Awesome to see so many doing this! :)

I should probably add I am very newly returning to fitness... So it doesn't have to be perfect, but would prefer an underestimation of calories burnt than overestimation. :) Waterproof is also very important to me, as I used to be a swimmer and that's my favorite form of exercise!

Wow, didn't realize how many awesome perspectives I would get on this topic! Also, yes, I really just because something sounds icky doesn't mean it is bad. But for me and a lot of people, my mind kinda tricks me into thinking it tastes gross just because it sounds gross. A lot of taste is in my head lol

I plan on completing Day 2 on Monday! And on Wednesday Day 3. I will then evaluate what I need to do on Friday, move on or repeat! Today I am toying with the idea of a long walk through Green Swamp or Carolina Beach State Park. The trails at both are just gorgeous!

Unfortunately, I cannot afford another pair of shoes but I have memory foam Sketchers that are serving me fairly well. :) I'm using Zenlabs Pro, as I had Google Play credit and read it was the official one somewhere. Didn't know the RunDouble one syncs up! Oh well, the pro version gives me milage and calories burned, so I…

I guess it's worth mentioning again that I was not buying Daisy, I was buying a store brand with different ingredients than the Daisy low fat. Harris Teeter Lite Sour Cream: Cultured Pasteurized Nonfat Milk, Cream, Locust Bean Gum, Mono & Diglycerides, Carrageenan, Enzyme. Those weird ingredients may be just fine, I didn't…

That is SO awesome! I'm anticipating repeating week one at least, and probably a couple more, as my body is so not used to running. I'm not gonna let that hold me back though! I figured at the end, I would treat myself by signing up for a Color Run 5k! Though I'm not sure they do those in winter, may have to wait until…

Today for lunch I was really craving something sweet... I took a ln Xtreme Wellness wheat wrap, spread a tablespoon of peanut butter, laid a banana on it, then sprinkled with half a serving a dark chocolate chips. It was delicious, if you're a banana/pb/Choco person :) Ended up making cookies a bit earlier, not exactly…

You're 23 or I'm 23? If you hit crap I'm sorry I'm so bad with ages D:

I was using a store (Harris Teeter) brand, as it was on sale. I will take a look at Daisy sometime. :)
