What has always worked for me is eating plenty of fruits and veggies, and drinking lots of water. I make sure to get plenty of fiber and protein as well. No need to totally eliminate certain foods, but keep in mind nutrition and make sure most of your calories come from foods that provide the good stuff your body needs.…

Food pushers can be relentless! I usually say I am eating certain things for health reasons. That usually does the trick. If not I have no problem walking away.

I would either do 1/2 the taco, save the calories and eat the whole thing, or the hamburger without the bun. Pot luck, guessing you can bring dishes too? Go for veggies!

If you don't eat enough calories it will have the opposite effect on your body. So make sure to eat all or as close as possible your calorie allowance. How are your macros coming out? Every bite has calories. If you taste anything at work through the day it can add up faster than you realize. If you bite it write it! After you measure or weigh it of course. Sodium may also be a problem.

Baking is my thing. So I enjoy trying new things that fit in my plan. Especially anything with pumpkin, cinnamon, or spices that just make everything smell great! I always do all the cooking for my family on holidays so I look for traditional foods I can lighten up without anyone noticing.
