  • BTW This is just one song on Audioshield on Epic Just got to get the right song (I needed to hit the daily min I set on my watch)
  • Day 12 Holoball Thrill of the Fight Holopoint Weight Vest: 16 lbs Accidentally left the weight I use for Audioshield and Onward in. It was pretty nice. Unfortunately something I ate started making me feel a bit nauseous so I had to call it quits early.
  • I don't. I thought the reason that the HRM wanted my weight was to figure out what my heart rate should be for my body. Temporarily adding weight shouldn't effect that. I am completely unsure however.
  • Day 10 Audio shield: Expert Vest: 16lbs I wanted to show some online friends how it works, so I had them pick the songs in rotation. I played a bit of Onward earlier but it was light and thus I don't count it.
  • Not counting this as part of yesterday's workout but this is what an average Onward session looks for me. I do wear the weight vest too and put on more weights. This was at 12 pounds or so
  • Gold's Gym. It is a sandbag one but I haven't had any issues with it so far.
  • Day 9 Audioshield Weight vest: 6 lbs Feeling exhausted today from having to work late and getting little sleep. I played through one CD on the new Epic difficulty. I love it! I'll probably play some more Onward with the weight vest. Helps the realism and it does burn a decent amount of calories, as long as you crouch/prone.
  • Congrats! What was your daily goal for caloric loss?
  • Day 8 Another day of two sets, this time because of syncing issues. I finally used the sync cable and that seemed to help. Started with the weight vest and 4 pounds. Holoball Sword Master VR Holopoint Audioshield Decide to do a small stint of Thrill of the Fight, just enough for a workout but not enough to hurt too much.
  • Week 1 Check In Weight: 217 lbs Waist: 37.75 in. (First actual measurement) Weekly Weight Loss: 2 lbs Total Weight Loss: 2 lbs % of Goal (50 lbs): 2% Having problems keeping my heart rate up with games that don't hurt my shoulder. That being said, I picked up a weight vest, so hopefully that helps. Also, I had a day where…
  • Day 7 I did 2 different sessions as I need a bit of a breather. First session. Laps are game times. Holoball Sword Master Audioshield Longbow I was having trouble managing the cable and decided to just switch games. Second Session Audioshield SwordMaster I had a control dying towards the end of one of the songs, so I…
  • Audioshield is having issues streaming songs and the dev is working on it. Local songs work fine.
  • I forgot to mention that I did a bout of Space Pirate Trainer. I found that if you only use the shields, and only use them in sword mode, you can get an okay workout from it.
  • Day 6.5 Holoball Sword Master Audioshield Onward I just felt like playing what sounded good until I had burnt off more calories than I had today. Pretty happy with the results, even if it was only JUST BARELY in my favor
  • Day 6 (With more to come) Holoball: 28:58 Sword Master: 23:18 Holopoint: 6:59 Audioshield: 17:44 Started using the "Lap" feature to clock the different games. Much easier! I wasn't able to get the room temp low enough before I started playing and still haven't purchased an additional fan. This being the case, I had a…
  • Welcome! I see, like me, you have a fairly big goal to achieve. I wish you the best of luck! What games are you thinking about using to start with?
  • I am digging Sword Master VR. It is a great alternative to Thrill of the Fight for me.
  • I played Onward for that last hour. While I wasn't too active there is a fair amount of moving and positioning which keeps you more active than other games. I'd say it is a good choice for cool down as you are moving but there isn't a huge amount.
  • Day 5.5 Audioshield Sword Master VR Onward I wanted to lose some more calories and ended up losing myself in these 3 games. I am satisfied with the results
  • Day 5 Holoball: 11 minutes Sword Master VR: 22 minutes Holopoint: 11 minutes First off I want to say that I appreciate the help you guys have given me for my shoulder but it is an ongoing issue with the VR and not a lot I can do about it until they check it out. Well, I took yesterday completely off and it helped. While…
  • Day 3 (The day of pain) Holoball: 24 minutes Holopoint: 11 minutes My shoulder was not pleased with yesterday. Stiff most of the day, in pain for all of it. Went lighter on today's workout than I wanted to but I have no intention of injuring myself further. Fortunately, I will be playing some lighter games on the Vive…
  • So, before I go to sleep, I see if I am in the negative or positive with calories. Today I would have been -100 calories (bad thing by MFP) I overcorrected too hard and now have 472 extra calories I could spend.
  • Day 2 complete! (Man I'm beat) Audio shield: 13 minutes Thrill of the Fight: 10 minutes Holopoint: 22 minutes Holoball: 16 minutes. Recap: I get wayyyyyyyyyy too into Holoball, so tomorrow I will be switching audio shield and it. I also have a shoulder issue from the Army which usually doesn't stop me from doing too much…
  • Ah, I see. I have a box AC that is right next to my workout area. I didn't think I needed it as low as I apparently do but I think that should resolve it
  • Face shield? Got a link to one?
  • After some rest and dry off, I went back and did Holoball. Loved it Holoball: 24 minutes Average bpm: 135 Highest bpm: 162 Est. Calorie burn: 306 I feel a lot more comfortable calling it a day after that
  • Day 1 completed (mostly) Audioshield: 20 minutes Thrill of the Fight: 10 minutes (only recorded 1/2) Holopoint: 14 minutes Average bpm: 144 Highest bpm: 162 Est. Calorie burn: 377 Next time I plan to record them all together instead of individually but I figured that there was some tutorials or something I would need to go…
  • Well, you can play The Last Sniper VR and only do squats when dodging/hiding. I did that a little bit and it was tiring.
  • Hello everyone! I got my Vive on Friday and after spending ~30 minutes in the Lab's archery game I knew I could find a good workout from using it, if not make my own. Glad to see a well balanced one was already created. Personally, I'm looking to lose quite a bit of weight. I'm about 230 or so right now and at 6' 1" it…
