The less you have to lose the harder. I relate. I eat very healthy. Slow slow results. But I know I am going over my calories a lot. When I eat less and weigh foods etc. I do lose But I lose very slowly. Want to lose 7 pounds.

Me too. Tired a lot. But happy I was down over a pound this morning. Too tired to exercize I can relate. But when I make myself go walk in mornings I feel better that day.

I think it is fairly common. I take supplements from health food store I am 63. Not easy but Mfp and this community helps Hang in there. Perseverance will pay off

Slow and steady is better. You want to KEEP the weight off. Quick on...quickly back on often..... 1 pound a week is healthier....but fast forward to a year from now. Picture yourself with the weight still off!!! Year after year... instead of quickly gaining it back plus extra-- that's how it often goes.

good to read these posts. I am 63. Nice to be reminded no matter what our age, eating less and moving more and doing weight training can be done. Plus so many benefits like feeling better. I want to sleep better and ahve more energy all day long. Thankful for the inspirational examples and ideas here. Thank you people!

I do have a food scale and am using it more and more lately....it does help. I think I've been lacking in the community department, so am thankful to get to meet you and join in…

Yes agreed. How to get it going? I will share right now. -357 today for me.1597 calories eaten. 51 exercize 1200 cal per day is my goal It is 5:19 pm. If I do not eat til breakfast tomorrow that will be helpful. Later I eat more I gain.
