haha. I don't share this problem. I actually don't feel the need to eat sweet things, more of fatty food :P. But I think you can include a sweet thing everyday, a square of chocolate per day shouldn't be a problem i think (no specialist by the way)

I'm no specialist but so far what was key for me was motivation and patience. I changed my diet, no sweets, no sodas, no sugar in coffee. the only sugar i take is from fruit. Well, my apple watch is measuring about 500 calories in 45 minutes on my workouts in a treadmill. it is measuring my heartbeat constantly so i'd say it's more accurate than a machine.
