  • My grades report photo, taken in 2014 or 2015. :D Selfie from about a month ago.
  • I don't really have any "red light foods". I allow myself to eat everything in moderation. Once a month, I'll have a whole pizza, it's just one day out of 30, anyway. I use it as a way to track my progress, as weird as it sounds, since I used to eat a whole large pizza on my own, now I can't finish a children's pizza, and…
  • Watching "my 600 lb life". Helps keep me motivated, if they can do it, so can I.
  • I don't take any vitamins, only meds and a "supplement" (not sure what else to call it) for my heart as it tends to skip often. And I am not vegeterian, but I do have about 2 dl of milk every day. I have had depression through my teens and I honestly think that's what's causing my brain fog, so I was hoping to try this…
  • @debraormond could you tell me a little more about this supplement? I've been struggling with brain fog for years now and every doctor i speak to just brushes it off, I'd very much like it gone!
  • My advice is, simply, make sure the medication you're taking for it is the right one for you, stick to your calorie goal, and exercise. If the medication works as it's supposed to, you shouldn't have any problems losing weight. I have hypothyroidism and PCOS and for a long time I didn't even want to try losing weight…
  • Ideas: chocolate cake with coconut filling, or a schwarzwald cake, maybe? That one is super easy to make, too. They still have chocolate crusts though, but most of the flavour comes from the filling. :)
  • Limit the amount pre-made, store bought and restaurant meals as those have insane amounts of salt added. Cook your meals yourself, and only add a little salt, it will taste weird at first, especially if you're used to salty foods, but you get used to it and you learn to appreciate the natural flavour of foods. As for…
  • I am taking them, I have been taking a 50 mg dose daily for the last 5 or 6 years, and I've lost 43 kg this year (94 lbs), so even though I feel like the pills aren't really helping with other symptoms (such as fatigue, for example), it hasn't stood in my way to lose weight. :) but as you already know, if you see that…
  • Thank you, and good job to all of you too! Any change, no matter how small you think it may be, that you make to change your life for the better is worth celebrating.
  • I don't keep chocolate around as I used to be addicted to it a few years ago (I'd eat, at least, 150 grams of it a day) and I'm afraid I'd binge on it. If I ever do have chocolate, I buy a small bar and have it, but I never stockpile. And also salami, especially dry sausages.
  • I add the time spent actually exercising. I like to go by "It's better to underestimate than to overestimate".
  • Ground meat, raw or prepared... And onion powder. The smell of these actually makes me gag.
