I make a box with 5 pounds on it with small little check boxes under and put on my refrigerator or where i look everyday and each time 1 pound is gone i check off. Have you thought of going at different time where its less busy. Because i was the same way at first and switch things up and even when i am there i put in ear phones and listen to up lifting music so I feel good about being there. I totally quit soda. For me it was ulcers and had to give up acid food. Which was strange to think i actually would give it up. So i just decided i will try each day to not have any and the next thing you know i was no longer wanting it. I have not had a soda since Jan 5th.

I have lost 23 pounds and 13 inches. I also noticed in the way my clothes fit and in my face especially.

I love juicing my veggies. Its a nice way to get them in. I also eat them whole through out the day. I alter every other day. one day I do spinach , celery, apples. Then second day ill do spinach /mango/ strawberries. I try try to have variety.

I always track when i eat out. Most places i can put in the search of MFP and will bring up. If not i google it and try to find the best fit. What i find if i dont log when i eat out that it allows me to cheat .

I am pretty sure i will have to log or count calories. The minute i dont is when i loose focus and slowly weight always comes back on. As , I still have a long way to go.

Hey Zuek, Your in the right place for sure. I had a slump myself for a bit. I had cut out foods that I thought was the issue but for some reason i was still gaining weight and I would wake up with terrible pain and could not get out of bed and put me in a funk you could say and leaned towards comfortable food. I count anything that beyond my day which is increased activity. However, I try and get 10,000 steps in the day and do monitor that but only count my exercise when i go to gym or do a work out at home since i have an office job.

I had some weight gain myself but not for the same reasons as you do. I am not a doctor by any means. I do know we can eat super healthy and all and dont realize certain things can hold on to weight and cause gain even if there is no sodium in it. as long as your eating enough foods your fine. I look at it this way Breakfast is your first meal of the day and when that is is up to you. some days i dont eat till 11 and i am just fine and still get enough food through out the day.

I think it can be a personal thing. For some weighing too much can get you down since our weight does fluctuate. For me personally,it makes me grounded and focused if i am aware of what the scale is doing. I also, do my measurements so i dont just count on my scale for loss.
