I'm a little puzzled by how MFP calculates this. My current activity level is "lightly active," but I start getting added exercise calories around 5k steps. How does 5k steps not fall within the "lightly active" estimate?

Cook your rice in chicken broth. Moist and flavorful. :) Toss some steamed veggies in (broccoli, peppers, cabbage, peas, whatever floats your boat).

Your best course of action would be to schedule an appointment with your doctor to have blood work done to see what nutrients you're actually deficient in. Excessive vitamin intake can be detrimental to your health.

Yesterday syncing my Fitbit after just 11k steps added 600 calories to my goal. This seems pretty universal on every tracking site, though. Honestly, I'd probably weigh 400 lbs if I ate the way Sparkpeople/Fitbit/MFP tell me I can. :D
