Interesting replies everyone!

Do you play Final Fantasy XIV? lol
-
I see. :)

Thanks. But one question, even though carbs make you feel more satisfied, they're bad compared to proteins, right? So if someone had the choice to eat carbs or proteins to satisfy them, then I'm assuming proteins would be the smarter choice.

Hilarious responses everyone! I know, right? How ridiculous can some of these articles be!
-
Yeah, good point. Someone could not even be exercising or dieting, but is ill instead and losing weight because of that, so you're right, you have to make sure they're actually on a weight loss journey.
-
Interesting! It just shows that we mustn't give up. We must keep going because people will eventually notice. But even if no one comments, in the end, you're doing it for you and your own well-being, so it's still a win no matter what!

Thanks.

So, based on the majority of the answers on this thread - No, sweat is not an indicator of effectiveness of your workout.

Interesting!

Thanks!

Just curious, but why is eating after 8 pm bad? or eating at night time, in general.
-
thanks!

Great answers!

Great replies, everyone! :)

84 lbs so far? Wow! Congratulations! That's a lot! Yeah, this community is so great. Like I said, it's a community of like-minded people chasing the same goal :D So we all help each other out. Keep going, 30 lbs left, you're almost there :)
-
Thank you guys! Thanks riley especially for the elaborate explanation!

Can't tell if it's sarcasm or what... but in fact I've only made three posts so far and they're just regular posts like any other, but of course, the main topic is weight loss, as these forums are about that :)
-
So 60 lbs is like the key number it seems, hahaha.

I'd like to say thank you to everyone for taking the time to read my post and replying. Always appreciate more comments/advice.

I'm sorry if it offended you. I just call it that because I was referring to 'bulk.' People say 'I do weight training to bulk' so 'bulking' just made sense. I didn't know it was rude.
-
Thank you for all the advice. I'm just afraid that I'll build all this muscle and turn my upper body into big and bulky, and won't be able to reverse it. I know I know sound a bit naive but it's just a concern and uncertainty as to whether I should do it or not.

I'm sure the better sounding answer would be 'for my health,' but to be 100% honest, it's mainly for looks and looking better, because I've been overweight my entire life and I want to live the life of being slim and see how different it might be.
