Have you tested your blood glucose levels during these episodes? I’m wondering if nocturnal hypoglycaemia could be at work. Edit: A carb snack at bedtime can help in this case.

I keep cartons of pure egg white on hand for these types of situations. I also keep cooked meat in the freezer in small packages that can be quickly thawed. I’d make a quick steak omelette.

I’m in my healthy weight range, but I want to shave off a few pounds so that climbing hills on my bicycle is easier. I also want to drop myself closer down to the bottom of the heavyweight category in rowing. I’m 5’10”, and I’ll never qualify as a lightweight in rowing.

I alternate between keto and low carb. I go keto in the fall and low carb in the spring.
