I use one when I do yoga and HIT and it seems to have worked for me. But I was looking to spot reduce my lower belly which has been resistant to all diet and exercise. My trainer thinks it might have helped me correct my posture and strengthen my core along with the exercise. You should definitely not rely on a waist…

My sense of style is the same. Dresses, heels, curled hair, make up. I don't lose weight because I feel like crap or hate myself at that weight, I do it because I want to be healthy. That's the difference.

I think it's a bad idea unless your kids overeat or are overweight. If they have a normal attitude towards food then knowing too much about calories and dieting at 7/8 might make them obsessed. Modern kids that age get the weirdest obsessions and are starting to become much more aware of their bodies than previous…

Metformin will help with the weight loss long term. Agree that you shouldn't ignore your doctor's advice. Most of this type of stuff doesn't work long term.

High body fat could do it. But so could water retention, and where that fat lies. Women with big breasts and/or big hips/bums always look bigger visually than women with big tums.

Are you in the States? If so I think it's best to over-estimate. Italian pizzas are often paper thin. Try 1000?

Replace with sparkling water if palatable. Otherwise stir a bit of cordial into it - it's not ideal, but probably has less sugar than a bottle of mountain dew.

UK tinned soup tends to be healthier than 'fresh' versions, with more fresh veg/meat, and less salt. If you are going to buy shop bought soups then tinned is definitely the way to go here.

Depends on the crust/toppings etc and how much you eat. A really thin based individual pizza (think Italy) tomato/mozzerella would have approx 600-700 cals.

My mind boggles because I can't understand how anyone could be overweight eating so little. I definitely think you need to monitor better. You can buy a decent scale for 5-10 dollars.

I think eat the one meal only when you have to work, then restrict on the other days. My husband eats out a lot for work too and this strategy, combined with exercise, seems to have worked for him.

You are overweight because you probably 1) have wrecked your metabolism by undereating if you're monitoring properly (which I don't think you are - overweight people who stay overweight on 900 cals/day usually have a severe hormonal problem) & 2) aren't as active as you might think you are. You need to monitor your cal…

What exercises are you doing? I sometimes find I grow muscle under the flab- so although I think I look better, my measurements don't change.

UK tinned soups tend to be really healthy even salt-wise, so I say go for it.

It could be that the weight loss has kick started ovulation or normal menstrual cycles. I used to have lighter irregular periods when I was a bigger weight and didn't ovulate, as I lost the weight periods got heavier, longer and regular and I started ovulating again.

PCOS can make you crave carbs and sugar especially if you take Metformin. My advice would be to increase the liquid in your diet - have more soups and stews, teas, water. Use sweeteners to trick your body into believing you're eating sugar. Exercise more to jumpstart your metabolism.

See your doctor. Spontaneous bruising is often a sign of something serious.
