Hah yep I gotta agree!

I used to think the same about the inevitable cravings but they rarely came and now when I see meat it looks like flesh and I don't miss it at all(its funny how one can change). Some advice given to me was to change one meal at a time. This was priceless. I took a regular meal I liked and made it vegetarian. Pasta with…

Enjoy the experience and open your taste buds. I did this two ways: 1) I ate at Vegetarian / Vegan restaurants and I'd ask the staff to make recommendations. 2) Someone on MFP told me to invest in the '1000 Vegan Recipe' cookbook. How can I not find something I like with 1000 recipes to hand. All recipes can be adapted, so…

89 lbs down << You rock star B) B) B)

I agree with @natasha7573, if I did things because off what others thought, said or what their opinion was, I'd do nothing at all. Be yourself and do your own thing. Quit explaining.

And there we have it, everyone's different (which I should've said before). My arms, shoulders, legs all lean out first, then its a waiting job everywhere else. Hey ho, I guess my message is don't give up and stick at it. B)

Back fat is the hardest to get rid off, everything else has to be on point for that to go. Keep at it :)

For upper and mid back = Pull ups For lower back = Deadlifts (this'll work your core too, which ain't a bad thing) The end result = a beautiful back. In my book this ticks many boxes. Good luck...

I don't have a goal weight, but I defo have a goal look n' feel. Once I have those, then whatever the scale says I stay within a range of few pounds either way. Personally I think a goal weight adds a lot of stress to your life and is short sighted. I know when I feel good, I also know when I look good. For me at least,…

Do what works for you but I'm with @gothchiq its a no no for me. Plenty people will say make sure it fits in your daily calories but only you can decide. Good luck :D

^^^ That's a cracking idea and it'll work. Also check this out it'll help: https://youtu.be/WP8lEbeY4LM

This is a great idea. Yoga sounds light weight, all I know, it kicks my *kitten* everytime I go. @pauladuke0 is spot on :D

I've been round the block, pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan for a while.

^^^ This all day long - I hear people say 'oh I don't like what I see so I don't take pictures' but I found this was the biggest motivator I had. In addition to this, I took measurements and I lifted. These three combined demonstrated my progress on weekly basis and then its only a matter of time before the NSVs start. For…

I found having a microwave made me lazy and I'd buy foods specifically for the microwave. I soon got rid of it and returned to cooking my food normally. I reheat leftovers on the hob (it doesn't take much longer and generally tastes better) and I never have a need to thaw foods out, so that's no biggie for me. In general I…

To deadlift twice my body weight, currently at 1.97

Jump rope, abs roller and resistance bands are my goto travel gym activities. Good luck

Estimate the time it took to put the weight on and you'll be closer to something realistic. Take pictures, take measurements and judge whether your clothes fit any different. @chelseahatch24 is on point. Good luck :)

I need to see the same weight, on three different weigh-in's before I count it. The beauty of this it works both ways if the scale goes up or down- I need to see that number three times. Oh and use other indicators like photos(I believe those pics are really telling), measurements, clothes etc. If they are all going in the…

Awesome - I also found eating at Vegan / Vegetarian restaurants gave me a new lease of life. Plus someone on here recommended I buy the cookbook 1,000 vegan recipes. Well talk about variety, of course you can amend the recipes but what an Aladdin's Cave of food.

Oh you silly sausage, overall it can take 3 years to get what you want #HappyDays :)

Taking weekly pictures on my phone was one of the biggest motivators I had. Good luck with your journey :D

I eat back approx 50% sometimes more but that's because I calculate my cals based on IIFYM with no exercise cals included. If I didn't eat back some of my exercise cals, I'd die of starvation. :( I'm always very hungry after major lifting days so those are the ones I eat a little more. Truth be told I do not mind going…

Pictures - The camera never lies. In my case it slapped me hard in the face and from there on in, I took control.

Oh that sounds awful, now you mention it I did have a period when I felt like that too. I soon figured out that was because my diet solely consisted of beans. Seems the body can only take so many. Anyways I varied my diet to incorporate other recipes and lo and behold no more of that awfulness. Good luck to you too…

Totally.... I'm into my second year and feel great. I have no problem with getting enough protein. I never feel bloated or heavy as I did when I ate meat. I'm healthy my health screening proves it - I have the stats and I find it easy to maintain my weight. I lost the majority of my weight (nearly 30 lbs) whilst…

Ugh... what do you think?
-
In short no - 3 years is much more realistic. Year 1 lose the blubber. Year 2 get down to a healthy weight. Year 3 sculpt a body you'll be proud to show off naked. All that may sound harsh but did you put on the extra pounds in 12 weeks? I'm guessing not, so the reversal is also true. Good luck with your efforts but think…

Yep best of luck, thats exactly how I started

The best way to drop weight is to stop drinking for a while. Liquid cals kills weight loss. I had to decide which was more important to me. I decided weight loss, now I earn my cals before I drink them. Yes I workout and have 300 - 500 cals in the bank as it were and then I have a drink. Its not for everyone but it works…
