@tiffanifair - I did the same as you and lost over 30+ lbs in less than a year. Some folk on my FL had an issue with it (the monotony) but I was happy that I maintained a healthy diet and it clearly worked. Do what works for you. :D

Do it and kick *kitten*... I do 20 secs / 10 secs splits - 60 rounds and then you know who's boss. You'll burn blubber like a beast and have the body to show for it. HIIT jumping rope is awesome - do it, do it now :)

I was once fat too, its from that prospective I make my comments. I do not have to do as others do. The 'but it taste so good' comment really resonates with me. I used to think like that too. So you can call it what you like - I really don't see it as fat shaming. Its a personal choice one makes, I choose to no longer be…

Eating meat won't be the issue per se. Your daily calorie intake will be, that's the key not being a meat eater or vegetarian. I lost the majority of my weight whilst eating meat nearly 30 lbs in total - I then decided to become a veggie I find it easy to maintain and feel better overall. Drop your cals, exercise regularly…

Possibly 10 lbs but if I'm honest I'm more bothered by body composition than a number on the scale

I'm vegetarian, anyone feel free to add.

I'm all in.... Veggie by name, Anyone feel free to add.

Everyone feel free to add. I'm veggie and love to lift. Cycling is a necessity. Being healthy is a must.

Vegetarian, open diary, add away!

FWIW I think the exact opposite. When I see someone who is clearly overweight in the gym, I take my hat off to them. It takes courage and determination to just turn up. Many would rather sit at home and order in pizza - so respectfully I disagree. And once the pounds start to come off, you'll be flabbergasted by how many…

I'm so into this way of thinking. Just because everyone else gorges on food around me, doesn't mean I have to. When I see all the fat people around me saying 'but its so nice mmmm' it reaffirms why I don't indulge. Its a choice, decide what's more important, then run with it. To me its that simple...

What strikes me about this post, is the timelines. I always knew when I started it would probably be a three year stint. Even today I think weight loss is such a mental mind game. Great work, brilliant achievement #YouRock

Stop on. I spent 6 months working out in an old boxing gym in Central America a few years back. Long story short I loved it. The weights were older than me, the bench, punch bags, boxing ring etc were all torn. There was nothing modern or new about the place. I liked it because there were no pretenders there. You came to…

Fish are farmed for human consumption << This took me some time to get my head around. Once I did my own research and worked out where I could get the same nutrients from, I no longer ate fish.

I know I was a little obsessive about losing weight. I think it kinda goes with the territory if your serious about dropping those extra pounds. I see it as being focused and those with focus tend to achieve their goals. Only you can judge whether its too much or not. Good luck!

This may help, I'm sure you'll get plenty of good advice on this subject. https://youtu.be/yWRkBH_q_Ag

This is a must and I do it frequently. Delish

Last year I lifted right up until Xmas day, the year before I trained on Xmas day. This year I have slowly been converting to callisthenics so I'm training literally every day with a bit of cardio to accommodate any indiscretions that may occur over the festive period.

Yep do it now, then you know exactly what your working with

Oooo did someone say tomales. Mmmmmm yum in my tum #Delish

I bought never gymless years ago (its how I got back into skipping) I never looked back.
-
I won't pretend its easy or you won't get tangled up doing it. Please don't worry about that, the more cack-handed you are at skipping, the more calories you'll burn. Over time you'll become better at the exercise but boy does it burn cals fast.

I've lost over 30lbs this year and weekend splurging had no place in my routine. I think it's why you read the "I was good all week and then I destroyed my progress at the weekend" post so often on here. For me your setting yourself up for failure, yo yo dieting, low self esteem and the list goes on and on.... Having said…

I've used skipping in the past and its great. The routine I followed is a little intense but you can build up to it slowly, I did sixty 30 second rounds with 10 second intervals. You'll do 30 mins in total and you'll blast that blubber at the same time. Give it a go and see for yourself. Good luck.

I've worked out with a few, I've had a beer with a few and I've hung out with a few. It's been all good
