Yes it is. Your body can hold onto excess water weight and then you'll lose it later, creating a whoosh. It's well documented and even happened in starvation experiments. I also want to clarify it doesn't happen for months (only days or a couple weeks, at most), so OP is probably eating too much.

Yes, I usually eat between 8pm and 12am. It really helps me not to overeat (I used to graze all day).

I've dealt with depression and anxiety since I was a child as well. It definitely makes life harder. It's easy to become apathetic and for all goals and hopes to wither away.

Hey, I'm a vegetarian and I fluctuate between that and vegan :)
