It’s like PP have said it’s all about how you hold your weight and how you like your clothing to fit. I’m 5’6” and 226 and typically wear a 16/18. But I also like my clothes to be comfortable and probably wear things a smidge bigger than most

Sent friend request! We got this!

Thanks! My little one is 9.5 months now, although I was already heavy going into my pregnancy I’m still beating myself up for not being at a healthier weight post baby.

I get on the scale every morning around the same time (i.e. before breakfast and after using the bathroom). It helps me understand fluctuations and helps keep me on track and focused on my goals. Some people get discouraged by minor fluctuations and don't like this method, I suggest trying both and deciding which way works…

I have a reward every 5 lbs, some are shopping related (i.e. new shoes or earrings), some are special pamper yourself type like manicure or pedicure. But the big rewards are my "adventure" ones, like a girls night out, weekend get away, trip to go kayaking etc. (These of course are bigger weight loss rewards) I have lost…

I'm always a fan of doing a workout that your enjoy. That way you don't have to convince" yourself to go. However, I know not everyone has that. I've started with an accountability buddy, I set a goal each week and if I don't verify (photo or something) that I achieved the goal then I have to do a less desirable task- for…

As long as you count those calories I don't see smoothies as being negative. Some people like smoothies as a means of getting in more fruits/veggies throughout the day.

It really depends on what all you're putting in your smoothies. Fruit, veggies, protein powder, extras etc.

No, drinking a lot of water does not out weigh your sodium count. Ideally you should be drinking about 8 glasses of 8 oz of water a day.

I overeat whenever I am: angry, sad, frustrated, upset, and stressed. Essentially any emotion that isn't a 'happy' emotion. And even then My family and I tend to overeat for celebrations. It's a struggle that has long been engrained in my life, that I'm working to change.

I am so thrilled to see this thread kind of "blast off"! Please add each other and lets stick together to make our dreams a reality! I don't know about the rest of you but I'm dreaming of "onederland"

Managing your blood pressure is totally possible! Don't lose hope friend. A lot of factors contribute to blood pressure: weight, stress, sodium intake and genetics. I know what it's like to hear you've got high blood pressure- I recently had a similar experience at my GP 144/90; in fact they took it twice on both arms…

YES, I'm so sick of having to 'start over' ready to get the weight off and ALL of it for good.

Thank you both for your comments, zorander6 I completely understand what you're saying. And I'm working on getting to that place- but it first takes me recognizing that I'm having that negative self talk to stop it in it's tracks.
