@rheddmobile I was thinking deer as well...That is crazy though.

I would seriously contribute to the "send @PastorVincent to Boston fund."

On track here too I think, we got our 600 mile badge too! Not fat, just furious is doing well. I mostly count runs, and walks if intentional as well.

@shanaber @Camaramandy648 @kimlight2 @katharmonic @quilteryoyo @emmamcgarity @bearly63 Thanks for the kudos on the race :) @Camaramandy648 Happy Happy Happy Birthday! Enjoy it with that great little family of yours! And quite special what Madison did for you. Ps. you could run 3.5 ;) @avidkeo @autumnblade75 and everyone…

Thanks! Yay for new gear!

Thank you!

Thanks for the info. I will have to compare costs. I’m due for an eye exam soon so will check on it.

Welcome back! Glad it all went well! Getting back is always hard, but I have no doubt it won’t take you long 😀. Just take it easy.

All of the same worries/questions I have, lol. Let me know!
-
Go for it! And who knows you might feel good to even get a good time. Like above , you never know unless you try!
-
@Tramboman @polskagirl01 @rheddmobile Thanks very much, and yes you gotta try!

Ive debated this for a long while now. I just don’t think I would be good at remembering to keep putting them in and taking them out. Or do they make them now where you can just leave them in?

@kgirlhart @LoveyChar Thank you! I think it was a good thing I started fast too, lol. THE HILL starts at 1 mile and then because of the course, again at about 2.6 ish so basically till the finish. Not to mention the hills in between. So the fast 1st mile helped my overall time!

Thank you!!
-
@PastorVincent Way to go!! Play more video games! It's helping :D

Lots and lots of chatter here..love it. Welcome to the new folks! It's a great place to be. So remember the impromptu 5K I signed up for on Sunday and didn't think I would do great considering I had run 10 miles the day before and the 5K course is a natural trail hilly course? Race started at 10. I got there at about 9:20…

Running shorts - I prefer the bike type shorts too, and need to get some with pockets. I’ll look at those you guys mentioned. When it’s really hot and humid, I do wear regular running shorts, but still have to find some that don’t ride up, but that’s probably because of my legs lol.

Closed out Leap Year with a 10 mile run. Crazy thing though is I signed up for a 5K tomorrow! It’s the one that’s part of the series. I don’t expect to do great, especially as it’s a hilly course, and it’s been super windy the last couple of days...But, I get points for showing up, so hopefully will move up in the…

I think I'll go for 100 again. Last 4 weeks of training, the last which will be taper. Thanks!

@polskagirl01 Wow. those look awesome!
-
Happy Birthday @Tramboman ! You are an inspiration, I wish to still be running at 68!

@7lenny7 Welcome back!!!!! Great to "see you" and thanks..have a HM coming up March 29. May do a 5K next weekend. There is 5K and 8K this weekend, but I've done that course twice now already the first 2 races (it's part of a series). Next week is at a different location so will be a nice change. Good info on the fueling.…

"runs to store to get Hershey Special Dark" I am a CHOCOHOLIC. It's my downfall really. I save calories every night so I can have some. So yeah. Yummy.
-
Good idea - they will also scan your foot, and bonus they give you 90 days to try the shoes! At least ours does.
-
I have always heard about chocolate milk as the best for recovery. I will need to try just the syrup now though because when I buy actual chocolate milk, no one really drinks it but me after long runs and then it expires. So good idea. I can't eat right after either, but I know I will feel so much better the rest of the…

@rheddmobile CONGRATS!! It's even better when you don't think you will and you do!! Love the pics too. But yeah that pack would annoy me as well. @bearly63 do you mean like a running store? Or specific foot place? I go to Fleet Feet.

@enaliba I run solo. Don't really have many IRL running friends, and the ones that do, all have different schedules. I've gotten my husband to run with me a couple of times which is nice, but doesn't happen often. Besides he talks to much. LOL I run mostly greenways for safety purposes when solo which does make it boring…

Yes! And having lived in Toronto, that's how it is as well. We just accept it here now. And stock up on bread and milk. (I don't) (others do).

@polskagirl01 @janejellyroll Thanks, good to know I'm not the only one and that I'm not way of base or hindering myself. I've run a HM and know I can, I just want to do better. @kgirlhart @bearly63 Yep! That's exactly how it is here. Couple weeks ago we had a "heavy rain/wind" day off school. Yes, you heard that right as…
