Speaking of dual citizenship I have dual Canada/USA. Does give a bit more choices. Sports bra...I have at the beach, and once here at home. And as @martaindale said I actually did feel more empowered! Safety I only ever run on greenways and usually when people are out and about. But there is one trail that has bridges…

So many posts, and so behind. Did want to do say @brittanystebbins95 Congrats!! Finnegan is beautiful! @kgirlhart Your weight loss is impressive! I can't even picture you any other way. And today's run was fab! Hugs and high fives to everyone here and to the newcomers, welcome. 7 ish miles today on the treadmill because…

@Teresa502 @katharmonic @skippygirlsmom And anyone else I might have missed - Congrats on the races and it words of @PastorVincent Well Done! Did 6.45 miles today - if I had known, I would have walked the .05. Ha. During one of the hills again I though of @PastorVincent who always said it's the effort on the hills and not…

I remember @PastorVincent always joking the next months thread would start earlier and earlier lol. This time he would have been ok with it. Thanks @shanaber for setting it up! 100 miles again. I did meet August goal of 100 despite also spinning (106.03 to be exact). So maybe I can keep it up! Still have tomorrow’s run to…

I’ll do the challenge for @PastorVincent . Yesterday I dedicated my run to him. Tired to watch some of the funeral today but had to go get my son. It’s still quite hard to believe.
-
Yes. Lets. Still wondering what happened. Unbelievably heartbreaking.
-
I still cannot comprehend this.

I came in to read as I haven’t felt like posting since my cousin passed. Now this. Omg, I can not absolutely not believe this. @PastorVincent was one of the first to welcome me here, and his advice! And his sense of humour! I can’t. I’m devastated. How, how, how? What is even happening. He was just here.
-
Thanks everyone. Feeling the prayers. I just spoke to his mom. That was hard. Reading everyone’s posts and what’s happening with you guys helps.

He passed last night. I'm so very sad. Like a brother to me. All my cousins are. I have so many. It's just awful that I cannot go to Toronto without having to quarantine for 14 days. Really wish I didn't live here right now. Still ran 8 miles today. It wasn't too hot - but was very humid. But I sucked it up. For my cousin.
-
Thank you everyone. He's still hanging on, which is good considering they didn't think he would make it past the weekend. 7.5 miles today, outside!! Finally was nice enough (though still hot) but not crazy humidity and dew points. Started at 70F! Downright cool!! LOL Much slower than usual on the same route, but probably…

Been off for awhile. Have had some bad news recently - my cousin who is 48 is in ICU on a ventilator, unconscious. He has lymphoma, and though he had seemed to be better a few months ago after his last chemo, it came back and has now spread to other organs. It is just so sad. And I cannot go to Toronto without 14 day…

Yes! Exactly!
-
@quilteryoyo Happy Happy Belated Birthday! And yes! for getting the run in!! @Elise4270 Ditto on the phone issue. Like @Camaramandy648 I have my dad's cell phone listed as Mom on my phone because she was usually the one who would call me, even from his phone. She has been gone 10 years now, and I too have moments like…

A lot do feel the same way you do...but in Canada you kind of grow up with them, and Canadians apparently love ketchup! Lol
-
@kgirlhart Ketchup flavored potato chips. It’s a Canadian flavor not made in the states. Though I imagine some of the northern states might have them. Not sure why they don’t make it here, I love them and usually bring back some after I visit up there. Although maybe it’s a good thing!
-
hugs @eleanorhawkins. We got you. @quilteryoyo I probably should have gone out to run today too...but Isais is coming and forecast was rain, so I decided on treadmill. Of course the rain hasn't arrived yet....so I could have gone - oh well. Did another 2 peloton runs for total of 80 min. Might be doing me some good as all…
-
Haha. You did it though!
-
Yes welcome newcomers!
-
I’m getting used to sleeping in on weekends. Another reason I got the spin bike, lol! Great for getting out at that time!
-
That is early! Way to get it done even in the heat!
-
22 miles on the spin bike. 75 minutes. Finished 1st in the leaderboard in the Echelon app for both classes. Still not sure how I am managing that. I mean I know I’m working hard as my heart rate and dripping sweat tells me so, but I wonder if the stats are accurate. If so, then I’m killing it. All that running!
-
Welcome back @polskagirl01 ! Good to see you! 11.26 miles to start the month! On the dreadmill! Quite impressed with that actually. I think it was manageable because I had the peloton running class on (I did 2), and listening/watching the instructors and music made the time go by. I had initially wanted to go outside, but…

So sorry too. I missed this earlier. Biggest 🤗
-
@katharmonic @noblsheep @Elise4270 Hugs to all of you. I know this too well with myself, and my husband who suffers with this. Thinking of all of you. And yes great cause on the race and hope it happens. Going to say 100 for Aug...but maybe tough now that I've started spinning again.
-
Today was spin day and strength training. Had a good ride - took two classes. As far as running, I may have to call it for July. I have a physical tomorrow morning and then have to go to work. Might try for one later, but for me usually if I don't get in my workout in the morning, it usually doesn't happen. So 107.63 for…

Good news on your dad!
-
ooohh loving that group! I feel much better now :) And empowered to do it again.
-
@mbaker566 Sorry about the DNF. Love your hair!!! I want to do this. Don't know if I have the guts to! And beautiful new foster :) @katharmonic Sorry to you too about your spartan races....I think 2020 needs to just end. @kgirlhart Good news! I know how stressful all this medical stuff can be. So decided to head outside to…

Yep, good time to rest! All these other apps are probably working overtime with all the Garmin users switching to track...
