Luckily I haven't come across people playing music on portable speakers, thats pretty messed up!! I'd have to say people that don't put their weights away...clean up after yourself!!!!

Yep, go with the barbell, like others have said!! It took me a bit to get my form right and a stance that worked good for me, but once I did it felt great!! Just keep at it, you'll start building that weight up in no time!!!

First off Stronglifts 5x5 is a great/easy program to follow!! I started by watching a ton of youtube videos to be sure I had form down properly. Then just get in there!!! Honestly, I've never had so many people talk to me at the gym until I started lifting. They have all been very nice and helpful!!!

I've made a few friends lifting weights :)

Men in uniform for sure military/leo/firefighters...but I'm married to a firefighter so lean a little towards them <3
