In case anyone is unaware, these are the rib patties I'm talking about.
-
I'm pretty sure they are cooked before you buy them and you are really just making them hot. Like the chicken patties, or chicken parm patties.
-
Good point. There wasn't much sauce left by the time my kids were done with it so I doubt there was 1/3 cup for each patty.
-
It doesn't say, but, it's frozen in the sauce when you buy it. I don't think it's raw when you buy it either.
-
And what about those people that only eat 1 or 2 meals a day?
-
Statistically - everyone here thinks you have no idea what you are talking about. SCIENCE!
-
And a salad with a cut up cheeseburger on top is better than a double chicken rodeo sandwich from burger king.
-
But it isn't much of a point when you use such extremes. I can easily have a salad with a cheesburger cut up on it. Is the cheeseburger still bad choice for "fitness"?
-
Ok, but, you didn't even attempt to answer my question. Why cant I eat the burger that way? Why does it have to be on a bun, with deep-fried onion rings and BBQ sauce? To accurately compare, shouldn't the chicken breast be on a bun, with onion rings, smothered in BBQ sauce?
-
I would call myself fitter than I was, yet still a work in progress.
-
Why is your cheesburger in this scenario have a bun, onion rings and BBQ sauce on it, but the chicken doesn't have those things? Shouldn't they be equal to compare?
-
What does that have to do with anything?? You said "people will throw burgers into their DIET and then trying to understand why they are not making the same losses or gains as the person eating more nutrient dense food - Chicken - Fish - lean cuts of beef - less sugar more vegetables" I responded that many are eating the…

More assumptions...
-
You make a lot of assumptions...
-
Except that many (including myself) ARE getting the losses they want while still eating the burger!
-
Also, what else should I get from that comment? You used false information to prove a point that is also false. It's like saying "Diets don't work because the sky is green!"

I will happily eat oreos instead of fish. As I said, I have lost 135 lbs and maintained for almost a year now. All while eating pizza, tacos, Doritos, Oreos, cheesburgers, potato chips and ice cream. In fact, I just ate some chili mac and cheese and ice cream for lunch. :D

Actually today's engines are built to run on regular and show no increase in stability or performance from a higher grade of fuel...
-
I have a bacon cheeseburger yesterday, and still stayed within my calories, with no cravings or bingeing. You are not making any sense.
-
Why is it funny? I have lost 135 lbs eating "crap"
-
Who said anything about starvation diets?
-
Oddly enough, it worked for me. I'm down 135 lbs and maintaining my weight, yet, I eat Mighty Taco every Friday night, Pizza at least once a week and don't you dare stick a bag of Doritos anywhere near me, because I will eat it! I also enjoy ice cream quite often...
-
Everyone says this, but, I ate low carb for over a year and when I added carbs back in, I did not gain that water weight back. Maybe that "WILL" should be a "MIGHT"
-
Maybe this is a stupid question, but aren't sprays like "Pam" 0 calories?
-
I also had to give it up a few years ago, when my kids starting getting to the age where I have to attend their sporting events, music performances and art shows, and time became a luxury I no longer had. But I do miss it!
-
Make sure you try Banana Split! And Cookie Dough!! And Peanut Butter!!! And Mint!!!! And Red Velvet!!!!! Wait... we DO have a lot of flavors for Oreos! :o
-
Today I ate Count Chocula for breakfast, a whole, small, gluten free pizza from Dominoes and a pint of Arctic Zero ice cream for lunch, and, my dinner will probably be a couple gluten free Hot Pockets. But, I stayed under my calorie goal. Are you saying that because I ate "crappy" food, I wont lose weight? And if you are…

I do. Bud Select 55 is my jam!!
-
I like Bud Select 55.
-
That is an amazing analogy!!
