AGE 66, Sept 2014, I weighed close to 500lbs, unhealthy, morbidly obeese, diabetic type 2, on oxygen 24/7, 4 liters per minute. 18 months ago I started to something about it. Started a food diary of everything I ate good and bad. Started eating healthier. Did not give everything up, just ate a whole lot less of everything.…

Stayed under 2000k, for the day, not what I usually did on TG DAY. Too much but a hell of a lot better than many past years. Average American downs 4500k on turkey day , I use to do at least twice that. While I seemed to hit a plateau as far as weight loss this week gaining 1lb, I did have one major success. I passed my…

I lost 285lbs in 9 months, but I lost my gall bladder and slowed down my metabolism. If you use it, I suggest you use it to supplement maybe one meal or part of one meal. The protein fast I was on was…

I'm Type 2, and have been working hard to lose weight for 18 months. Have found that the more weight I lose the lower my A1C goes. Started out at 13.5, and the latest blood work was 4.1. But I can still wake up with a 140 to 170 reading in the morning. Usually I can check my food diary and trace it back to high carb treat…

Did the HMR fasting diet in the 90's. 500 calories a day for nine months. Lost a hell of a lot of weight, 285lbs, but I also lost my gallbladder. Hope your attacks are over, I still recall sitting on the floor of the shower with a bottle of jack, praying for the pain to stop. Quick weight loss and fasting is a quick…

I started going back to the YMCA in April at 392lbs carrying my oxygen tank. You get looks, so let them look. Have lost 55lbs since then. I went swimming laps for the first time in 10 years this week and will do it again tomorrow. You can do it too. You will find things you can do, and some you can't, not just yet anyway.…
