Hi again! Checking in a little late as work has been crazy. So far 15/16 AF days! Had one drink on Wednesday with a nice dinner. It was supposed to be a food/beer pairing night with 4 courses and 4 beers but got rescheduled due to staff illnesses, and we were offered a free drink as a sorry for the inconvenience. I was…

5/5: 2 5/7: 5 5/9: 1.5 5/14: 3 5/21: 1 Feeling good about 23 AF days out of 28! I was getting discouraged last week because I hadn’t seen movement on the scale in 2 weeks, but I managed to stick with Proxies when I was feeling cranky and having a wine craving, and it paid off in a 2 lb “whoosh” over the past 2 days. Back…

5/11: AF 5/12: AF 5/13: AF 5/14: 3 5/15: AF 5/16: AF Well the weekend brewery tour plan was successful! I ended up drinking a little less than 3 standard drinks across 7 breweries. There’s only one I’ll ever go back to (I love wild fermentation!) but it was a fun time and having the punch card definitely took the mental…

Like the poster above said, if your calorie count is accurate you should eat more, especially with how active you are and your size. Your summary up there gives you a deficit of 1200-2600 a day, which is bananas and is likely stressing your body out. This isn’t a race. In your shoes at that activity level I’d be shooting…

@lmlmrm I am so jealous about the mushrooms! We almost never get enough rain here to see them. I’m also real sorry about the estimate heartburn—I’ve been working on getting estimates for renos for almost a year and it just feels like it never gets better. @missmay the hat looks great!

Overindulged a bit yesterday—5(!!) drinks at a friend’s birthday party at a winery. Those tastings will get you. Got a little fuzzy and shouldn't have had the last glass. But, I’m still under the my goal weekly limit so I’m not beating myself up too much about it. 4/27: 1 4/28: AF 4/29: AF 4/30: AF 5/1: AF 5/2: AF 5/3: AF…

Today is 7 days alcohol free for me! Dawn, your garden looks great. I’m very excited to see things growing again! I wrapped up a really stressful work thing today and instead of celebrating with a glass of wine, I bought a bunch of trellises that I will be stapling (?) (haha should probably figure that out) to the side of…

@MissMay thanks for this thread! I lurked on last month’s and loved seeing the chit chat and encouragement. @thehealthyadventurer I’m in the same pandemic boat as you, I started drinking way too much and gained a lot of weight. Hoping to fit back into work clothes before I start a new job in July. For now I’m just setting…

@Sinisterbarbie1 thanks for the NA wine rec! The other flavorings looks super good too, I’ve ordered the wine sampler and the fish and mushroom sauces. Really bummed the allium one is sold out!

New as well! I did it for a year or so. I had a pole studio that also offered conditioning classes to get you strong enough to do the more advanced moves. If you end up liking it and want to be good at it, you're going to end up training for it like any other sport. By itself it can be a pretty good workout, I definitely had more arm…

Welp, blew it out this weekend again (went to a brewery, had 3 delicious beers and a pizza, totally worth it) but it is probably fine, since I'm still on track to hit my calorie goal this week. Also managed to do the 30 Day Shred twice, along with some super slow running and strength training to mix it up. BUT, I gained…

That's a 50-18-32 percent split. You need to up your calories if you want those numbers, because that works out to 2150 calories a day.

August 1 will be three weeks on MFP for me. I blew it out 2/3 weekends on vacation and a mandatory work event, but still managed to lose probably 1 real lb and about 2 lbs of water weight. Height: 5'5" SW: 142.6 CW: 140.0 GW: 132.0 This month, my goals are: 1. Complete all 10 days of the 30 Day Shred workout 2; 2. Figure…

I wake up and chug a preworkout. That way, I know there is no way I'll be able to get back to sleep, and I need to do a workout to burn off the excess energy. The preworkout gives me the energy to work out without being heavy like food or even a shake, and then I can eat whatever breakfast I want later.

Age: 30 Height: 5'5" SW: 142 lbs CW: 141 lbs GW: 132 lbs Just started logging this week in an attempt to get rid of the 10 "my sedentary desk job has a fully stocked free snack kitchen" pounds. I'd love to find friends eating around 1500kcal/day whose diaries I can stalk because this week has been super rough in terms of…
