A very hot cup of Nestle Fat free hot chocolate when I am about to go snack. It takes a while to drink. It is sweet and has 20 calories. It takes a while to drink, which gives me time to determine if I really need food. In short hot chocolate is my crutch.

Garmin is my choice. Waterproof and works well with biking. That being said if all of your friends are use Fitbit then that may be the way to go

I go to classes 2 times a week. Very intense! I burn 750-800 calories per hour. The spin classes have power meters. This is calorie metric is consistent with the power meter on my bike.
