I need this as well. As the Diary is used multiple times a day and the Dashboard on an adhoc basis, the priority should be the Diary. There should be an option to choose as I guess not everyone will want this?

I'd like this also. It's a pain having to click Diary every time I launch the app. Diary I use multiple times a day but the Dashboard is only used occasionally.
