  • Working from home is awesome! I do a short workout in the morning. I set my Fitbit and Apple Watch (love having both) set for hourly reminders so I don't get a crick in my neck/back from hunching over the computer. At lunchtime I do another short workout. I'm on the phone a lot so I have a Bluetooth headset so I can walk…
  • I love my isagenix! I do the cleanse days now only when I feel like it. I do the 2 shakes a day (dairy free/vegan vanilla Chai) so easy with my day and helps keep my metabolism going.
  • Love my AW for everything but the fitness and the difference in pairing with the Fitbit and MFP. Still trying to figure this out. I would love to share data and get motivation. PM me for my email... I have no idea what my name will appear as.
  • Are people still active on this feed?
  • In the fitbit settings it asks which dominate handed you are and what wrist you wear it on, it adjusts. Mine is pretty accurate.
  • I love my isagenix shakes (vegan non-dairy for me) Two shakes a day. 2 snacks and my 1 meal. It makes my life so much simpler! Pish-Posh on the people who say it's a waste of money...it's a lifestyle that works for me. It also helps me keep the unwanted calories and stupid binging out. I'm not a fanatic...just food…
  • @ssakcik ... I worked in an office setting and my count would be up and down too. Sometimes I worked under stress and other times I was walking more briskly. Somehow it calculates. But why do you take your firbit off when you do yoga? That's a great time to check activity with a low heart rate.
  • Everyone has great advice. This is what I did...I cleaned the house out of all temptation-gave it all away. Pantry/Freezer. I do the grocery shopping so I replaced it all with healthy foods and fresh food. We eat more green and less fat. I asked for a treadmill and elliptical and I had them put into our living room and…
  • It's been a while since I had little ones at home but I joined a mommy/me playgroup and fitness group. We would jog or stroller walk together. When the little ones were playing I would prep meals for the week. I would make sure to keep a schedule of cleaning too...it's an amazing workout when you think of all the cleaning…
  • That's an awesome perk! Can you work out hard before your work day and then walk or a simple not sweating abs mid-day? (I now work from home so I don't have the swearing at my desk issue)
  • Check out the challenges thread. You can do them at home and in your own comfort. There are multiple ones
  • I'm in. I love my Apple Watch.
  • I have a ZIP as a back up to my ALTA. I love the Alta because I can wear it sleeping and showering and even swimming. The ZIP is my back up because if I forget to charge the Alta then I have that. I can push carts and my tracker counts. The ZIP when I wear it is on my waistband. Most accurate there.
  • I've been working the Spartan workouts...going to do the Sprint this year. (My Sweetheart is doing the Super and Beast) planning on doing those in the future with him. But one challenge at a time!! Keep me motivated
  • Hello New Friends! 47 here...people tell me I look 30's and I am proud to say "Nope, nearly 50!!" Looking to tone up and keep the fitness going. Logging my foods are tough and everyone tells me it's not enough, but it works for me so don't stress about my diary.
  • (Rest of my post got lost) Setting my own hours and setting aside workout time. I've got an amazing friend going to make me sweat twice a week!! I will continue to encourage you and cheer you on!! Shorties taking on 2017!!
  • It's so GREAT to see everyone so encouraging and understanding! For the record ... I am 47 and pretty healthy but being in the "Shortie-weight comfort zone" is always a chore. I've been working in an office but this year...2017 I've become an independent contractor so I am setting my own hours
  • I know what you mean! Only short girls seem to understand. We want to remain under the 100lbs but everyone says we are too skinny and then we get on the blog and everyone looks at us like we are crazy for not having 100lbs to lose. ☹️ I'm currently at 115 and 5'. I'll share in your journey!! Shorties in fitness!!
  • Way to go!! Pictures are always helpful and definitely makes what you eat more fun
  • I'm in! I always strive for 10K steps...some days it's just exhausting to get them in...but I am in for the challenge
  • As others said...it depends on how YOU feel and perceive the weight. I weight daily...the fitness app shows you your progression. I use the Withings scale and we have a Weight Watchers scale (only because we wanted to gauge the difference) they run about 1 lb apart. Weight yourself at the same time and be consistent with…

  • @alipsie19 ...the weight isn't the issue. (Maybe those stubborn 10lbs) but toning what age softens and the nutrition are my issues. I just don't eat enough proteins and vitamins in a day. GREAT job on 33 lbs!!
  • @Tucker3306 @JustaJoe00 @sapphiremoon23 @shellyld2016 @alipsie19 @Ant488 @chandraminick @scarabonback902 @maryryan672 @dbkyser @jwat90 .... You are all an inspiration! I get up with my Fitbit...because it reminds me to
  • It's always helpful to have the same friends on multiple apps. [edited by mods] feel free to add and motivate me!
  • Always looking for motivation
  • Walking on the treadmill or a bike while watching tv is relaxing for me. Just a steady slow pace allows me to watch the tv and enjoy it. No food while watching tv is our rule.
  • Working in an office all day...I love new friends!
  • I've been eating plant based and it's so refreshing-I think your body will appreciate it. Just remember to get or supplement the protein. Good Luck!
