love my Garmin VivoSmart HR+ I use most of the bells and whistles and have found it very accurate. Love that it's waterproof and the computer interface is less condescending lol

I am addicted to sugar (and alcohol actually) and it's a very real thing. Abstinence from both is my choice.

Whole Food Plant Based... Luckily, it's everything I want. :)

Personally, I would consider juicing if I had some kind of illness that could be treated with high amounts of fruits and veggies. A seven day juice fast got me out of a bad state with gall stones a few years back and saved me from surgery. Funny that I saw this post today. I blended my breakfast into a yummy smoothie this…

I love pound puppies but my favorite breed hands down Is a well bred Doberman Pinscher. Standard Poodles are number 2. Giant Schnauzers are number 3. I'm lucky enough to have one of each in my life right now plus a cat and a mini poodle.

I'm eating whole foods plant based, as fresh and raw as possible with exercise. I love how I feel on this way of life. I think it's going to be sustainable and healthy for me and the planet for at least the next forty or fifty years. LOL.

LOL, silly I know, but putting the Gamin vivosmart HR on my wrist got me serious. I love that it's waterproof so I don't take it off except to charge and clean it. I like the accuracy. Then I found the Gamin community (Gamin Connect) and found lots of friends and support there. We do challenges every week and joke around a…

Tried this this morning for breakfast. I'm not doing added sugars so I took out the brown sugar and added raisins. They didn't get quite as brown but DELISH!

There are Doctors (Neil Barnard, John McDougall and Dean Ornish) claiming to have reversed diabetes with a whole food plant-based protocol with documentation published in medical journals (the Lancet and the ADA journal) I have personally seen this only twice. A friend in Washington reversed his Type 1 Diabetes within six…

8oz black coffee and an apple. I'm not much of a breakfast person.

I don't know of any packaged Raw Vegan Meals to purchase at a local grocery store. You could investigate delivery services like Veestro or FoodFlo

I really like Zumba so my favorite is liveloveparty. I also love Refit. I've had a little dance and aerobic dance instruction so the dance combinations are recognizable. I think the music they use is great too.

I learned the hard way that it is not the best idea for me to weigh myself often. I can drive myself crazy with it. Ideally, I log my food every day and weigh myself monthly or bimonthly and I haven't failed to lose weight because of the log. Weighing less often gave me more time and energy to exercise and plan my healthy…

It's really difficult to know what a person needs or doesn't--that goes for a person sitting across from you or a stranger that's a thousand miles away. I think the best advice is as follows for everyone: Take what you need and leave the rest. If what someone is saying inspires an emotional reaction (like fear, anger etc),…

I feel ya lovetolose20 ! I don't think that sugar is fine or that any kind of fructose is either. I believe it's a highly addictive toxin and only when surrounded by appropriate amounts of fiber and phytochemicals, is it safe to consume. I think that we as a public have been fooled into thinking that it's ok, but I think…

I switch around a lot but right now it's REFITREV and LaBlast

My Garmin has proved really accurate and there's a great group from MFP that participates in challenges there at Garmin Connect.

Congratulations on making the change. I absolutely love the way I feel on WFPB and can't imagine going back. I did pretty much jump into the veggie pool but I understand that many get in one toe at a time. There's alot of science based research out there. I love checking out nutritionfacts.org. There's a new video every…

I really like following a Whole Food Plant Based Eating Plan. It's healthy, very forgiving and sustainable for life.

I eat mostly raw. It's not a rule with me, just a preference. Play around with the diary and food search app. if you type in Raw before your food and it should come up and then you can adjust # of servings and measurements in the drop down menus until you get to the amount you ate. Feel free to take a look at my food diary…

I love how I feel on WFPB lifestyle! I think that it's a sustainable way of life that I can live with until a very healthy old age. In about 5 weeks, I've lost 16 pounds. It's not about the weight for me though (Ok, maybe just a little). I don't care if I'm the Biggest Loser. I just want to be one of the smartest…
