  • Not sure if that's what you are looking for (don't know much about Whole 30) but I eat Applegate Farm Uncured Sunday Bacon for my LCHF. No sugar, no added salt, no nitrates, etc.
  • Husband and I just started our LCHF on Saturday... doing the strict keto for the first 2 weeks. He's having trouble with it (he's a carboholic) but I'm actually feeling pretty good so far. Feel free to add me if you want.
  • PC Master race! Yes - gamer! I play lots of different kinds of games. Anything from Skyrim to "The Cat Lady". Big name games to indie games. Currently playing The Division.
  • I get a massive headache a few days before, and I crave chocolate like a crazy woman. I try replace it with fruit, and if that doesn't work I will have some dark chocolate, and try and stick to the serving size and just factor it in to my calories for the day. I do gain a lot of water weight the week before and it can be…
  • A lot has to do with diet and the kind of muscle tone underneath the fat layer, as far as my research goes. Even at my skinniest, I had some cellulite on my thighs (never on my bum) but when I hit my 30's I found it creeping further up my thighs and onto my bum, and now in my 40's I have seen some improvement when I drop…
  • I have a Vivosmart HR and I think I found it in the settings in the Garmin Connect program (that you install on your computer) I'm going to go double check now... *wanders off* *returns* Hmm... ok... can only find the option to turn it off, as well... Must have been looking at my husband's - he's got a fancy pants one.…
  • My tracker "annoys" me every 60 minutes - but I can turn it off or set it for a longer time. My "daily steps" goal was apparently "created" from data I entered into my Garmin connect account (weight, height, activity level, weight loss goal) and it actually wants me to do 10599 steps a day and whines at me if I don't. Some…
  • The messaging system does not appear to be working at the moment (not sure if it's just me, or site-wide) so feel free to add me, if you would like. I've only been on MFP for 10 days now, so I have no friends. Don't need much interaction (I'm not a terribly "social" person) but it's nice to have someone to be accountable…
  • Drink a small glass of water, or have a cup of tea - no sugar/milk. I was like that in the beginning too. Sometimes still do it when I'm stressed. Boredom/stress make you eat even when you are not hungry. It's hard to fight in the beginning, but once you find your "coping" mechanism, it will get easier.
  • I'm halfway between 41 and 42. New to MFP - but not new to fitness sites/apps - so I don't have any friends on here. Just got tired of having to enter things manually into the site I was using (dailymile). Husband bought me my first fitness monitor watch and I'm loving it so far. Trying to lose that last little bit of…
  • I'm on 1200-1300, but I also eat back my workout calories *sigh* so 1500 is probably more accurate. I'm new to MFP as well, so don't have any friends. I'm looking to lose that last "little bit" and tone up.
