So this is a weird one. I think it's positive? But I feel so great that when I'm not looking at a mirror or a scale I feel much smaller than I am. This part is good and I'm happy that I'm so happy with my body! However, when I forget that what's in my head isn't reality it becomes a negative. I was shopping for a dress for…

Yes!! Even though my immediate motivation for exercising is change in body composition and fat loss the nitty gritty day to day reason I workout is for mental clarity and management of depression/anxiety. In hs I was a runner. I was also a collegiate athlete (who didn't train in winter very consistently...) this winter of…

Reading this made me cry happy tears

Makes me cry because I GET IT. The FREEEEEEDOMMM!!!! You've expressed it very well.

Yeah fitnessblender!!! I workout with Kelli & Daniel 5 days a week. It's been a total game changer for me!(used to be a runner and then I had kids and well...I chose to be a runner who mostly lifts/does HIIT and then runs on the random evening/sat am when I get the chance for some "me time")

I love this! I'm freshly 29 and I really don't know exactly how much I want/need to lose...somewhere between 30-50lbs? All depends on how I look and feel. The last time I was around 140 (what I would be after a 50lb loss) was wayyyyyy before kids...we're talking college days. I currently am MUCH stronger so I think it's…

I'm currently still breastfeeding my 11m old baby... 2nd kid. I will wean her soon as she is definitely showing signs of readiness. My NSV is that because the inches have been coming off so slowly (because of the breastfeeding...I tend to hold onto extra weight until the baby is done and then it falls off me) I have been…

Ok it cut off my post! There were some smiley emoji's after that last phrase!! I promise I'm not being snarky! Alright, I'm not gonna retype the last few sentences because I haven't had luck with that in the past. The end :-)

IF is Intermittent Fasting. There are several methods that fall under the category. Many people just limit the hours in which they eat their calories. So a person doing 16:8 would eat 2,000 calories (or whatever calorie allotment they have set for themselves) during a set 8hr window of their choosing. They would then fast…

Yes!! Raising kids is VERY much like this! The days are long...quite long. Ok let's be real. The morning through lunch up until GLORIOUS NAP TIME is long.
-
From the research I've been doing (trying to come at this armed with facts, partially from my own place of disbelief and also to help others understand what I'm doing and why and what's actually going on in the body during fasting) beyond what is actually HAPPENING in the body when you give it a rest from constant…

I'm motivated by a few things right now: 1. How uncomfortable it is to be overweight (even just a little). My legs don't stay crossed as well, I can't stretch as far b/c my belly gets in the way....things like that. Sitting on the floor was too uncomfortable. I have 2 kids under 4 so I'm always on the floor! 2. When I…

I mash up about 1/2 a banana and 1/2 an avacado and feed that to the baby (11m) at bedtime. Then she nurses (if she has room) that has helped her sleep better :-) just throwing out ideas!
-
^^THIS^^ enjoy the baby!! Fitness will come. Clean dishes will come. A tidy house will come. Sleep will come. I've got 2 kids now and the 2nd is 11m. I didn't figure out how to fit exercise back into the new normal until my oldest was almost 2yrs old. About a month after I had figured out my new routine and what was gonna…

Ugh. It keeps not posting my entire comment. Booooo. There was more to my reply :-) but I shall add that back in later as I'm super tired!

It seems like whatever you're doing is working! Keep it up!! So far I've been entering BF as it's own exercise with 300 cal burned since my daughter is 8M old and eating solids. I have my activity level set for very active since my workouts are pretty intense and I'm BF. I only log the BF calories and eat them back. I…
-
Surprisingly...yes! Despite my best efforts! Ha! She had been eating some solids and then for reasons still unknown she couldn't hold them down. It was only 3x...once on a Sunday night. Then again on a Tuesday afternoon. Then we waited a week and tried again. She still threw them up. Not violent, nothing to be concerned…

Love this!! Congratulations!! Also...If you REALLY hate traditional boring cardio you should check out Fitnessblender.com they have 600+ FREE workout videos on YouTube. Their "for people who get bored easily" videos have ZERO repeat exercises
-
Thanks! The note about 300 is reassuring, I had just guessed myself at 350 considering her solids intake. Do you know how often I should adjust the BF calories? I know it's not an exact science but there's got to be some sort of reference guide out there
-
Should I be tracking my exercise and eating back those calories too? Or track and not eat them back? There are so many options! Haha I'm just sort of playing around with making sure I fuel myself well considering the exercise intensity and the breastfeeding. But I also want there to be some sort of calorie deficit so I…

It cut off my post and when I edit it it doesn't change...so here's the rest of it

Yippee!!

Me! I'm gonna add you! I just joined MFP to help me make sure I'm eating enough in the day. (2 kiddos 3 and under prove VERY distracting when it comes to my meals!) I love Kelly and Daniel and am currently doing the newest fb30 program.

As a SAHM of 2 I loooooooove fitness blender! I've been buying and using their programs for several years now... 4 maybe? So convient. So motivating. Our second child is 8m old and the other day I went across the monkey bars as a 190lb momma of 2!! I haven't had the arm/core strength to do that since I was a child! Ha! I'm…
-
Seriously this is SO encouraging!! My second baby is 8m old and I've been taking it slow and healing my body and gaining back strength through exercise. I went across the monkey bars the other day! First time since I was a kid! But even doing everything "right" my body just holds onto the extra fluff with an IRON grip…

To be honest, for me I get bored very easily! I workout with fitnessblender videos and I LOVE follow along with the videos. I get to do a different one every day and it keeps my interest. I find that when I know what's coming in a workout I tend to no push myself as hard to "save it just in case" so when I can follow along…

I hit inspiring because for both of my kids breastfeeding has NOT helped me loose weight. My body holds onto the extra with mega force!! I'm working out smart with weights and cardio and I've had success, it's just slower than I wanted. I workout with (fitnessblender.com)-FREE I'm going to start tracking my food so I can…
