I started watching and eventually switched it back over to a show about buying historic homes in parts of England I've never heard of. Seriously, though, if they want people to get the message they need to make it sound more interesting.

No very often. If we were say driving through Georgia when the peaches were in season- yeah, I'm probably going to eat one. Most of the time I can do without. I do miss apples, those are my favorite.

Or laundry. I've literally had to drag myself away from the DIY stain removing ideas to go do laundry. Yes, I admit, its a problem.

I've been wondering too because while the skin tags are going away the fasting BG is still bouncing around like Tigger on speed. One day its starting to look really good, then next it jumps back up.

I love Pinterest to the point I know longer need magazines. I have boards for low carb and fitness, crochet, upcycling projects that I like to pretend I'll someday attempt, and kitchen ideas. Among others. I have to be careful as its easy to get sucked down the rabbit hole.

I'll have to look it up.

I may get in a walk today but I forgot socks so I'm not sure how far I'll get in these shoes. I'll restart the push-ups challenge next month. I sort of like the idea of everyone making their own challenges.

Paperwork regarding totaled car is almost complete and we can pick up a new-to-us vehicle this evening. I'm likely to get in some walking tomorrow just because our schedule is a bit busy.

Yeah, they did seem to leave out a lot of the actual Norse lore, probably to make it fit the Marvel world. For instance, Lady Sif was Thor's wife in the stories and they could have done more with her in the movies too.

I've found the key to "cheat" days is to take the "cheating out of it." If I want something high carb I keep it within the perimeters I've set (special occasion, specialty food item not often found, homemade something that is rarely eaten, etc) and make the conscious decision to eat the item, understanding the…

I was still debating the experiment (wondering if I should just wait for my blood work/dr's apt next month) when we had the accident Saturday and even though there were no major injuries I thought it best to keep everything the same for the time being. I am planning to talk to the doctor about it depending on how the blood…

So the next few days are going to be weird schedule-wise with appointments and paperwork so I'm not getting much done in the way of working out. Most aches and pains have subsided (thank you magnesium) and I can't take my lunch walk because of umpteen phone calls. My fitness goal for this week is to buy a new pedometer as…

I've always wondered why, when remaking Loki and Thor, they left out the Valkyries. They seem like a whole force of superheros waiting to happen.

Playing devil's advocate for the carb-y moms, they're probably operating on what they've been told by doctor's and dietitians. Its definitely their responsibility to do the research but it all seems to contradict itself.

SW 280 today's weight 271 Down from last week but still not back where I was.

Goals for this week are to take it a day at a time with exercise and stick to keto. I won't be getting in an actual walk today because I'm spending so much time on the phone with insurance but I don't feel like it anyway. Arms and shoulders are too achy for pushups so that challenge may just get shelved until next month…

Welcome! I've been keto since mid-March and didn't lose right away either. I also don't count calories on a regular basis, though I did for a few days recently because of a fluctuation. Perhaps Facebook would have a group in your area? Or you could start one.

I don't know if you call it a cheese problem but I've made several trips recently to a local store that sells cheese 5 for $20.

I was diagnosed with T2D somewhere around 2005. They sent me to a dietitian who put me on a high carb, low fat diet. This began a series of cycles where I would try to do what they said, fail, beat myself up about it but go back to my former way of eating, gain more weight, beat myself up about that, try the diet again,…

Thank you!

3.5 miles and 10 pushups yesterday. 3 miles and 0 pushups today because I totaled our car. We live in a road with bad holes and a creek bank on one side and while trying to get around the holes the mud caught our tire and we rolled. I'm mostly freaked because my kid was in the car. We're mostly fine but I may be taking a…

Interesting that this was the first thread this morning. I've been doing well with keto and not having any trouble with Glipizide but I've been thinking about it alot lately. It's only ever been the fasting level that was problematic unless I ate carbs and since keto I've not had one spike except for fasting. It's up and…

So far this weekend the only things I've got planned is a trip to Aldi, a boatload of laundry, and a Leslie Sansone DVD and/or a trip to the gym because its supposed to be rainy. I'm so looking forward to taking a hike through our local arboretum but its just been too rainy or muddy for me.

Ah, thanks.

15 pushups in and 4.25 miles walked, mostly at the gym because of weather.

My dogs love rib bones. In fact the last few times we've been to restaurants I've brought home bones for them. The looks the servers give me when I ask for boxes for the bones are bonus points.

I have no experience with sciatica but since going back to LC and then transitioning to Keto I've noticed less inflammation in my knees as well as my face, which tends to swell with foods that are high in sodium + carbs.

I know the dogs are liking the new way of eating and I think the cats are getting jealous. I'm switching them too, just finishing the current bag. One kitty was raising cane this morning about the dogs' breakfast chicken until I gave him some. The other kitty neglected to show herself this morning so she'll have to hunt…

Wow, great job!
