If your not into the running aspect of the intervals, try walking on the treadmill at steep inclines, 15% at 2.5,3 or a little higher speed for about 4 min intervals. Easier on the knees and will get that heart rate up.

I've been using the Apple Watch for some time and having it sync to MFP here. As for workouts, any of the running or walking both indoor and outdoor will sync to MFP. If you use the other category on your watch like if your lifting then it will not. I usually just manually transfer the information my workout collected to…

Besides following the Spartan daily WODs I follow Matt "The Bear" Novakovich on Facebook. He is one of many other Spartan champions that have really good insite and videos on his page to help prepare for Spartan races. I'm sure others on here could add some that they may follow.

Just turned 43 a week ago. I started running and working to be better fit a year ago. I'm into obstacle course racing which has made me work harder for my goals. I still have a ways to go before I'm at where I want to be. Always like to motivate others. Add me if you like.
