I'm starting over. Lost some weight, regained 20, since April. One of my goals is to drink at least 8 cups of water. So far, 6 cups and a 32 oz powerade. Yes, had 7-8 bottles (14-16 cups) of water. I was bulimic from the age 15. I lost over 100 pounds back then, and regained it ALL (and then some) over the years, while still throwing up almost everything I ate. Not sure how that works.. I must have destroyed my metabolism. I still struggle, and I don't think I will ever recover 100%. Stressful situations get me.

These fad diets can be confusing... They all contradict one another, but claim such high success rates..

I think the best diet is healthy eating. Counting calories, staying low. Making the right food choices, keeping it somewhat low , getting enough protein. Fad diets can have some good ideas mixed in, but I wouldn't follow one exact. Just take the good ideas and incorporate them into my own healthy eating plan.
